My FIL doesn’t have any symptoms. So far my MIL has had nasal congestion, but that’s normal for her since she has terrible allergies. Did they get it from SIL? I think I remember you saying last week she had it. Glad they got tested before going back to AL. |

I haven’t received any updates this morning, but last night her BP was down to 95 over 54. Pulse down to 88. Kidney number is 1.4 and they want it under 1, it was 2.4. |

Morning! Quiet one here...thankfully no smoke alarms going off. The PBK furniture I've been stalking for C *finally* went on sale. My furniture track-record with them is not great so it probably won't arrive til July but at least it's ordered. I've got to get the house organized today and do some cleaning, I'm getting very anxious looking at it all  We're going to my parents' for chili later today, and Mom and I may try to hit Dillards to take advantage of the shoe sale while my Dad watches the kiddos. |

My kids are in Meltdown City this morning...they got plenty of sleep so I'm assuming this is just their version of a holiday hangover. But sheesh...

Morning. We are just being lazy over here. Nothing at all planned for today either. V has been sleeping like crap so I have been too. She has her well check tomorrow so maybe they’ll discover an EI or something, although no fever and only a little congestion. DH is also going to the doctor tomorrow, he has a colonoscopy and EGD to investigate the blood in his stool. I think it’s probably ulcerative colitis, but we will find out shortly. He’s going to have a long night tonight doing his prep. One new thing did happen yesterday: we gave V her first good, bananas. She was not impressed at all, only allowing me to put 2 scoops in her mouth and spit out pretty much all of it.

Hi all! We made the kids put actual clothes on since they haven't left the house or gotten out of pajamas since Thursday.
The house is a disaster, there's just no place for anything new yet. DH is once again making a big stink about bagging up some old toys to donate, but he was supposed to do that last week so I'm not overly hopeful. Work should be dead tomorrow with everyone off for Boxing Day observation, so maybe I'll just do it myself. He's expecting he boys to take the lead when they have been nothing but resistant to the idea. I just wait until they are in bed or out of the house and make a few bags to tuck into the basement for awhile to see if they notice before actually getting rid of it. It's worked before so why reinvent the wheel?

Also I binged Bridgerton and I highly recommend. So many shots of six packs and male butts, and the male lead is gorgeous!!

I binged tiny pretty things, just half an episode left. It is good. I love love love ballet, so I really enjoyed watching the rehearsal parts, but even if your not into dance that much it a fun watch.

We did a clean-out last week and it was the first time I’ve involved the kids; they were actually more ruthless/less sentimental than I am, lol.
I use the ‘we’ll give this to our little cousins’ and I think that helps them let stuff go. (Spoiler alert: most of it does not go to the cousins, they have plenty).

I slept in after being up every hour last night. I know it’s all anxiety related. Hopefully it passes soon so I can get better rest. When I got up C was chomping at the bit for activity. He has just given up on getting Dh off the couch on the weekends. I was only successful in getting him going for an hour so we could have. Family nerf gun fight, but he’s back on the couch.
I’m going for a walk soon with my neighbor but otherwise just lounging. I’m looking forward to being alone tomorrow, even though I’ll be working. It will give me some time to get the house in order and our cleaning person comes on Tuesday. I wanted to take down Christmas but was voted out. I’m allowed after New Years.

Now I’m washing bed clothes and cleaning closets. tgrimes I’m sorry your IL’s got COVID. I hope it stays mild for them! Have you guys been around them? Do you have to quarantine? Ordered our food for the week and meal planned. Currently waiting for E to finish eating so L and I can bake some brownies. After E’s nap we will go pickup our grocery order then prep some stuff for tomorrow. I go to work and E will go to DC. L will hang out with C tomorrow and do a Costco run for milk and other items we buy in bulk.

Hi all! First time checking in since for a few days. I'll try to go back and skim through but hope everyone had a nice holiday. Ours was nice, kids were overly spoiled and got some nice gifts. we picked up my mom Christmas morning, so it's her first time here since last Christmas and it's so nice having someone else to talk to the kids. We are watching movies at night- knives out last night was excellent and probably going to cry through Soul tonight. Mh has work this week but hoping to get the new bounce house set up tomorrow since it will be 50 degrees or so.

flamingo the smoke alarm situation sounds horrible, we had one go off a few weeks ago while I was trying to work and mh couldn't figure it out (tried to fix the wrong one all day) and then it was expired. My nerves were fried. tgrimes hope your ILs are okay, glad they got tested! When did you see them last?
