I did not sleep. I fell asleep at 10:30 and woke up at 1. The wind and rain here was/is so extreme. Fingers crossed it ends soon.
Otherwise, I’m super excited for this morning!

Merry Christmas! We are piled in my bed watching videos. Told the kids at 7 I'll go downstairs and put the tree on, make coffee, ect and then we can start waking A to open presents!

Merry Christmas! Evie woke at 430 and came in to our bed. She said she closed her eyes as she walked by the tree, but was excited to see what Santa brought, so we didn't fall back to sleep...I'm tired!
Definitely the best age for Christmas excitement! And she LOVES the kitchen, so I'm glad we went ahead and got it on top of everything else.

Morning. The kids woke up at 07.40, it’s a christmas miracle! They loves there little presents, nothing big, more or less stocking fillers. I always try to get them one thing that’s meaningful, but small. This year I got all three kids little wooden gardian angels. Since my MIL&FIL were coming over for brunch, we decided to postpone the big Christmas breakfast till tomorrow. My h took the kids out the dunes and I’m taking of my very constraining nursing bra (I have yet to find one that’s comfortable..) and watch a Christmas movie. Dinner with the kids tonight  . |

A lot of people by us lost power but luckily we still have ours. Us too. Apparently 400 houses in town, but we were spared. I fell back to sleep a little before five and woke up about an hour later. The kids were up right after six and are about halfway through so we’re breaking for breakfast while mh assembles hot wheel tracks and open barbies. |

Morning! I was up at 430 to make monkey bread for breakfast. Neither kid ate it. We had a zoom call with my oldest sister and my parents. My other sister is being difficult. We are now watching scooby doo and will have an early lunch and hopefully all nap

Cadence woke up at 3 and didn't fall back asleep until 5. So many questions of what time is it, when can she get up, can she watch her tablet, etc. It was not pleasant.
Then mh came and woke her up at 8.
We've done gifts and I made breakfast while mh went back to bed, where he still is.

Remember my niece who asked M to be in her wedding a few years ago? She just had a baby last week. Now she’s in the icu. Her blood pressure is 90/30 & her kidneys aren’t working. They think she has sepsis and a UTI. The baby is fine.
Please send all the good vibes/thoughts & prayers her way.

I would just finally falling back to sleep and it would flip back on or off. So glad we have no where to go today!! |

Merry Christmas! We had that terrible storm overnight as well. It kept waking me up. This morning we opened gifts and then I was about to make breakfast and there was a knock on the door. It was my mom telling me our dog was running up and down the block. She’s never gotten out before. Thankfully, I yelled her name and she came running right back. I went to check how she got out and the storm actually bent the latch on our gate so badly it opened.
All DD wanted for Christmas was a pet mouse. She got the cage and a gift card to go get the mouse tomorrow. Now T is whining that he wants a mouse too.
