Morning!
We are making sugar cookies for the kids to decorate this morning, and I have to run to the store at some point for a few things I couldn’t get in my deliveries. I think it should be an in and out run.
I finished The Wilds last night. The last episode was disappointing to me. I wanted more answers and more within the season to get me to where it needed, but because it’s renewed for a season two I am hopeful.

Morning! I'm at work. My sister and her family came over yesterday and we made Christmas cookies which was fun. My kitchen was COVERED in sprinkles!

Morning! We have Evies 7 yr check up this morning, then will bake 2 more batches of cookies, even though we have over 100 cookies in the house currently. Then im going to start prepping food for Christmas Eve and Day.

Morning. We supposed to get snow today, so we’ll get our white Christmas! But it’s also supposed to be windy, so we’re in a blizzard warning. The kids are supposed to go to my parents this morning so I can finish wrapping and clean the house, but I don’t want to pick them up in the middle of the blizzard... so we’ll see what happens.

Hiiiiiii. I am still "working" but there's nothing really going on so I will be helping Colin do one of his school activities this morning and baking up cookies and dipping the buckeyes in chocolate later so I won't have too much to do tomorrow.
Colin is "singing" Christmas carols but instead of words, he's kind of mewing? I joked that it means that we need a cat, which lead me to the local SPCA site and now I really want a damn pet! I love dogs - particularly large ones - but the boys are terrified. Of course DH is allergic to life itself and has zero interest in a cat. It's so unfair. Haha.

Morning. Baby girl slept really well, she even had a 4 hour stretch at some point! So off course this was the night ds was up... I think he had growing pains, poor thing. Not that I like being woken up, but the first time he woke up was quite early. He came to our bed & we snuggled and talked about how we’ve all been a little short with each other and that we (h&i) are sorry. We made a to do list with achievable activities and they get to pick 1/2 each day. Hopefully this will give some structure to our days.
We had an impromptu photo shoot this morning & I’m in love with the result! Poof

Morning all.
It's a half day of work for me then I'm off until Jan 4th. I'm spending the morning going through and cleaning up all my work emails, in my inbox and the shared one, the perfect way to end the year. I've got to make a list for the Christmas eve/day food and get all of that today, then head to the next town over to get a couple bags of beef jerky and pick up a couple small items.
I think MH is taking the kids skating to the community rink sometime today, we're kicking ourselves that we didnt do a backyard rink this year, esp with everything locked down but we've missed the window, it's definitely on the 'to do' list for next winter.

I’ve been really wanting a dog lately, too. M has come a long way just this year in terms of not being scared of dogs. M2 is fearless. MH’s intern brought their husky over a few weeks ago and I was shocked that M was holding his leash and petting him because he was the size of a full grown wolf, but he was so calm and gorgeous. Ever since, I have been very into the idea of a dog for us, but now is not the time with a move on the horizon. |

Morning.
MH took the boys to get haircuts early this morning and I went to the grocery store to get what I need for the next few days. M2 is home for the rest of the week, so it was my last shot to go without having to bring them along.
My in-laws arrive this afternoon, so just some last minute cleaning for the rest of the day. I need to get the kids outside at some point before the rain comes. It supposed to be in the 40s the next two days, so I’m sure the kids will not want to be outside then.

I'm at work. The bosses just had their end of year financial meeting. They came out in fairly good moods, so hopefully that's a good thing.
Cadence is here at the office with me and she was already claiming boredom an hour in. She wanted to come, so that's on her. She as plenty to do, she's just choosing not to.

This has been such an easy Christmas in terms of planning because we aren't going anywhere! I finished my wrapping and have C's electric scooter charging up. I still haven't gotten my 3 missing gift cards. Two I have until the 26th and the other is my parents so they are cool waiting. Amazon is killing it with their deliveries though and a Mandalorian figure that I ordered late and wasn't supposed to be here until the 27th, will be here today. I am going to have DH give it to C. They are on the outs a bit and I think this could help bridge the gap.
I'm done at noon and plan to watch The Wilds until 3 when I go for a walk with my neighbor.

I'm baking too today. That and killing zombies (video game) are my big plans of the day.
Yesterday we drove to Portland to meet up with my mom. It was nice to see her and the weather cooperated enough to let the kids run around a park.

Morning! First day of Christmas break here. We are having a blizzard, not a lot of snow but 50mph winds. I feel bad for DH and all the other postal/delivery drivers. I am not going to leave my house. We got the cut out cookies baked last night so we will frost them today. I made the saltine cracker toffee for the first time this morning and I hope it’s good, it’s still setting up. Pumpkin pie is also on the list to be baked today.
