Dh is picking the kids up now before it gets too bad. I had a whopping 2.5 hours to myself, but I got the kitchen scrubbed top to bottom, bathroom cleaned and some laundry going. I wanted to grab a coffee on my way home but the line was too long so I had Baileys in my coffee while a cleaned instead. Also placed and aldi Instacart order and had it delivered within an hour. No going out for me today!
I’m hoping Dh decided to take the afternoon off, but that’s doubtful. And I hope the sushi place doesn’t close due to weather because I really want that for dinner. We tried to order over the weekend but it was a 2 hour wait, so now I’m extra craving it.

lahdeedah, speaking of a move on the horizon, has there been any new leads? Not really. This is the first time that I’m starting to get a little worried. I thought for sure by now we would know a little more, but it’s been too quiet for my comfort. The only thing that is looking promising is a military lead but that may not happen for another month or two. It’s amazing that we haven’t had to dip into savings yet, and I would really like to keep it that way, but I need a job to come along in the next month or so. |

I’ve been really wanting a dog lately, too. M has come a long way just this year in terms of not being scared of dogs. M2 is fearless. MH’s intern brought their husky over a few weeks ago and I was shocked that M was holding his leash and petting him because he was the size of a full grown wolf, but he was so calm and gorgeous. Ever since, I have been very into the idea of a dog for us, but now is not the time with a move on the horizon. I'll let River out. He's part husky and will probably run all the way to you since I can not seem to keep him in my house/yard! 😂😂 |

No left here in the office except for me, the kid, and the HBIC. He made Smokey stay an hour later than normal. She cried when he asked her to come in tomorrow, so now she doesn't have to come in tomorrow.
The office is technically closed, but he always comes in. One of the other partners said he likes to be the martyr.
He just started mumbling, "I don't want that one!" in his office....come quickly 5pm, I have no interest in helping him with more documents today.

I am on a zoom with my girlfriends and just found out that one is pregnant. She's not on the zoom, she gave one of the girls permission to tell us - and she's due in less than 4 weeks!! We didn't even know she was seeing anyone, I am in shock but so excited!!

joelies Due in 4 weeks! How did she keep it a secret for so long? Honestly she is a bit of a recluse normally and she's currently living with her elderly parents, so she doesn't see much of anyone. She's also an epidemiologist in the middle of a pandemic, so she works a ton. It's just crazy to have an unplanned pregnancy at this stage of our lives - her due date is a month before her 42nd birthday and the father already has adult children. |

joelies, wow! Does she have any other kids of her own? No this is her first. She has a brother who's a bit of a nomad so her parents are excited about unexpectedly becoming grandparents. |
