We made some cookies this weekend — rainbow cookies, tadals (sp), snd walnut cookies. We still have sugar cookies on the list— probably Wednesday — no one ever eats those so I might buy the dough to make it easy.
My leg is still killling me if I fit so I’m trying to up the core exercises until I can get in to pt.
In tv news, I watched California Christmas (pretty good) and started Home for Christmas (I fell asleep, but I’ll try again), but more importantly, I started The Wilds and it is SO SO good!! Everyone watch!

I'm off work until January 4th, although I will check email regularly since no one backs me up. Im lounging on the sofa drinking coffee in quiet since H left and E stayed with MIL last night.
Going to make my list of food to make this week so I can get anything I may still need, at the store today. Then we close on our refinance at 1. I'll pick Evie up after that and come home and start Christmas cookies.

Good morning! I am off today so I’m eating donuts and then curling up with a book.
I still haven’t gotten two of the $50 gift cards I ordered from Target 12/5 and one I got from a restaurant ordered about a week after. I’m crossing my fingers that they all come by Thursday. I also have towels from Macy’s that I’ve been waiting a while for. 😞

Morning. The weather sucks today, but we ventured out, because the kids (and I) were driving up the walls. We also made cookies, building a train with duplo, watched Christmas tv, coloured and its only 16.15... it’s going to be a loooong vacation.

M had his morning teams meeting at 8. He has one more at 11 and we’re done for the day. I need to finish up some things I started over the weekend and didn’t finish. I also plan to cook two meals later. A soup for lunches and spaghetti for dinner.

Morning. Big girls are at school and I’m waiting for old navy to open to pick up my order. We didn’t get to cookie baking yesterday so I’m planning to do that after H gets home. I believe I’ve developed a side effect from the vaccine. I have a headache that is kind of making me nauseous. I can’t watch tv, cause it makes me sick. This started last night and hopefully goes away today.

trtlcrzy I have a friend with similar side effects from the vaccine and she said ibuprofen took care of it. Not sure what you can take, but might help a bit.

Morning!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was good, productive...I got both kids' rooms/closets cleaned out. Huge box of stuff to donate and two trash bags full. We purged really aggressively before we moved so I think stuff is multiplying at night.
Today is baby day for my sister; my parents have my nephew so I'm having them over for dinner and will help with bath, etc. He is so cute but 2.5 and obviously a handful.
The kids and I need to make one last Dillards run. I bought a gingerbread kit at Target a few weeks back so I'm going to let them do that either this afternoon or tmrw.

trtlcrzy I want to like your post for getting the vaccine, but I can't like that you feel like crap. I've heard the side effects usually only last for about 24 hours, so hopefully you feel better by tonight!

Morning...more USPS woes. S’s seizure meds still haven’t arrived. They shipped on the 12th. The last tracking info was 4 days ago in KC. So I have now called and had a short fill sent to the local pharmacy to get us through the week. Insurance probably won’t pay for it because it was just filled through mail order even though it’s who knows where.
Today I’m headed to the dr because I’m out of refills on my medications and they won’t refill till they see me. Then just planning on wrapping presents and finishing up some other gifts I’m making with my cricut.

We decided to pull S from his remote learning place for the month of January. I'm still home most days, so we figured we can make it work, and it's what he wants. I hope that I'm not regretting it by mid month. I've enjoyed my peaceful days at home!

I was thinking about doing a few apps and something different for Christmas Eve/ Christmas. MIL and FIL are coming to spend a few days with us because we have to work next weekend. I talked to MIL last night and because they didn’t really have a Thanksgiving meal, she wants to do the traditional meal. 😕 I am
Not cooking much since I have to work the next day, so I hope they are cool with a few takeout items. If she wants to cook, cool.

When S got out of bed yesterday morning, he was complaining that his lower leg was hurting, looked like his calf up to the back of his knee. I thought charlie horse and was telling him to walk it off. Throughout the day, he would say it was better, then complain again. This morning, he was really complaining agian. Seems odd to be a charlie horse that would last so long.
Anyone ever experience anything like that with their kids? It's just the one lower leg, no where else.

+ whatever to delivery woes. Canada Post says 'we'll update you on your delivery regularly'..... last update Dec 9th. MH is not so patient and keeps opening the front door to watch for a delivery as if that is going to make it come quicker.

B has it periodically in his calves, usually just one leg at a time. We do heating pad and if it gets really bad, Tylenol. He’s pretty good about drinking water but I’ve heard eating potassium rich foods like bananas can help. I also read online that a lot of physical activity can cause it (almost like overexertion) and to have them do stretches. Not sure if this resonates or helps but just what we’ve had luck with! |

I’m sorry for the delay lfig, that is so annoying and frustrating. I have a mail order drug that has to be kept cold so they always send it FedEx and thankfully we’ve never had an issue, any chance you can switch shippers for future orders? vino I’m with your H, I check the tracker 75 times a day 😂 |

Morning ladies. I'm off til NYE but I work from home that day. I need to do some stuff for my other job though so I'll log in at some point.
Got 2 batches of cookies done yesterday and might do peppermint merengues or cranberry lemon bars today.
We let the girls open their Lol doll house last night since they already knew they were getting it. It was a good decision to do in advance. Setting up the doll house took a while, they have something to keep then occupied all week, and the rest of the gifts won't be overshadowed on Christmas.
