Boring question: Do any of you have a cordless stick vac? I want something that is better with pet hair (my brush gets clogged about every 4th vacuum, need a bigger brush) but it seems almost everything is cordless now. A bunch of them only have an estimated 20 minute run time on high power. Does that work for you? Any issues with the battery giving out altogether? I've only had corded before. I have one at the beach because my house there is 4 levels and there are a lot of stairs. It does suck up the dog hair and sand easily but the battery doesn’t last for me to do the whole house and I hate that I have to hold down the button to keep it on (not sure if you have to do that for all of them). Mine is a Dyson. |

I took the 3 youngest sledding and DH took the oldest to finish Christmas shopping. I think other than 2 gift cards, we are mostly done buying gifts. Now we need to decide what we are doing for food, clean, finish wrapping, and bake.

I just finished Home for Christmas. Oh my gosh it is so good. Everyone watch it now. At the end I saw a preview for Tiny Pretty Things. It looks like Pretty Little Liars, Black Swan, and some Lifetime betrayal movies had an orgy and this was the result. I think it will be delightfully awful. You need to watch tgrimes so you can see all the inaccuracies of the dancing world. |

I went Christmas shopping with my mom today. A stayed with the kids and mil was here all day doing laundry because her waster went out. So glad I was gone from 10-3.. I love mil dearly but shes so helpful its annoying. And my kids are wired the whole time shes here. A is making dinner now and I'm playing with mj. I need to wrap after dinner.

Thanks again ladies for the birthday wishes. We had donuts for breakfast then cake. The kids and I watched scooby doo and had chipotle for lunch. Now we are having Lucille’s for dinner. C, the kids, and dexter gave me the two Jumanji movies and a new Bundt pan. Overall a nice Birthday. Just wish C didn’t have to work.

Hi hi - I did a live barre class this morning and then went on an odyssey to pick up drive up items. Found a sbux drive through which took forever, then REI and a Target far away. J asked for the mario and sonic olympic switch game for Xmas, but doesn't understand that he needs a switch to play. So santa is bringing the game and we are getting the console. On the way home somehow n bumped j and knocked his front tooth out (which was super lose) while I was going 60 mph on the beltway..I think we survived without blood on anything, but I should confirm.

<creeps in> ...... Hi...... So, I know I haven’t been here in forever. I’m sorry. Life’s been a bit insane. I try to check in once in awhile but i never feel like it’s right to post since I’m not around anymore. Anyway, I got so many sweet Christmas cards from all of you, and I’m so grateful. I posted something on Facebook, but I lot of you aren’t on there. I didn’t write down a lot Of the address from last year and I was trying to send them out as I got cards.. but then it was too late. Long story short, I miss you all and think about you a lot. I loved getting cards, and if you didn’t get one from me this year please keep me on your list for next year, I’m promise I’m going to have it more together. We spent most of the day sledding. Our neighbors were there too so we let the boys sled together masked. They managed to figure out how to connect their three sleds and go over jumps together. It was hilarious. I went down with C a fair amount. My hips and butt are super bruised but it was worth it! We plan to go to another hill tomorrow. Tonight we did a movie night, ate Chili’s takeout, and watch The Christmas chronicles. C loved it. They are showing the second one at aftercare next week so he’s excited to see that. inthekitty klong11 or anyone else that enjoys creepy entertainment. Have you watched Servant on Apple TV? We finished last night and woah. That was an interesting ride. Season 2 comes out next month. Also on Apple TV is The Morning Show it was really good. Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carrell are all in it. |

I have the animal dyson. I only have to use it on high when I'm doing the rugs. The majority of my house is tile & wood. I can do the entire house without charging it, if it's fully charged before i begin. Occasionally it stops on high on my last rug. |

The kids spent the night at my in laws' house and we went to dinner. It was sooooooo good. We were asleep before 10 and up at 7. I need to finish some laundry and I'd like to purge/organize some things with the kids gone. We really need to rake the yard but.....I don't want to.
Now I need to decide whether to eat the leftover mashed potatoes or the cheesecake for breakfast.

Morning. Back at work, nothing exciting to report. I want cheesecake for breakfast. DH went to the grocery store last night and got all of our food for Christmas. I am going to bake cookies with the girls this afternoon, hopefully. I should have DH and the girls make the dough and put it in the fridge now.

Evie and I made a list of the cookies we are making for Santa. I included one for Mrs Claus as well. Got all the groceries, we will start baking tomorrow, after we close on the refi of our mortgage, saving over $200 monthly!
Evie is going to MILs today, H and I will go get her kitchen. I might go to Academy and see if they have any Brooks on sale, the shoes I have aren't great for running.
