Were supposed to be having a weather event today, but the model has changed a dozen times so who knows.
B’s school announced yday at 5pm that they’d close today. 😑 C’s school is doing an early close at noon today. I wouldn’t mind so much if we were getting the 6” originally promised. Then the kiddos would entertain themselves and play outside. But w slush and ice/freezing rain, they will be cooped up in here w me.

Morning!
I bought a onesie pajama from Amazon, and I woke up on Monday morning with a rash on my legs. It’s still there so I did a Tele doc visit this morning.
I took my glasses off and started to put my make up while the visit was loading. My phone was maybe a foot away from me, and I went through the entire routine and then noticed that something on the screen was moving. Because I couldn’t see clearly, I never noticed the doctor login, and I guess he waited patiently for me while I put my make up on.
I also had just a sweatshirt on at the time and I’m pretty sure I never moved far enough away from the vanity that he saw me in my underwear but who knows?!?

I ran in to tell my what happened right after, and he said he’d be mortified , dead, and done for the rest of the day. We are so opposite that way. I never care and think it’s so funny! |

Morning.
I’m at work. It’s not bad now. I need to make some calls to a plumber. Our kitchen sink problem is back. While I was cooking dinner yesterday evening I stepped in a bunch of water and knew exactly what it was. I refuse to call the contractor back because the leak is still coming back weeks after the “fix”. Hoping I can get someone out this afternoon so I can run my dishwasher.

Morning! Anxiously waiting our governors announcement today. Rumor has it he’s going to get elementary kids back in school. As much as it’s actually not bad having N home, she really wants to go back, and number have actually been falling pretty substantially the last week, so that’s good.

Cadence is here at the office with me. She got upset because apparently today's show and tell was to show an ornament and she didn't have any since she was here. I told her to just draw one that she could show. So she did, then the teacher never called on her. Which, of course, made her upset. So I said, well just raise your hand and let her know she skipped you, then you can show her what you drew. "I ALREADY ERASED BECAUSE I WAS SO MAD!"
It's always something guys, I can't win. She was also bitching and moaning about shirt sleeves. Long sleeves make her arms feel tangled according to her. I'm going to have to learn to sew clothes for her with all her little quirks.

klong11 I’m sorry. It is a lot for all these kiddos. Hopefully a break from dl during Christmas will help a little. I’ll admit I agree with her on the sleeves, I hate full length sleeves, 3/4 for life! (I have lots of other quirks when it comes to clothing too, so I feel her.)

It’s day one of homeschooling and I’m already drained. No zoom meetings yet thank goodness, but lots of worksheets, reading out loud, reciting words, ‘sports’ (kids yoga tv 🙄, sorry screen free school) & outdoor time. It occupied the first half of the day. I’m sure we’ll find a routine at some point, but this combined with nursing every two hours is challenging.
Finished my Christmas grocery order, we decided to do sushi for the two of us on Chrismas eve. Normally we cook a nice meal, but this year I can’t be bothered. We’re having my MIL/FIL over on the first day of Christmas for a brunch & my parents over on the second day of Christmas for and appetizer style dinner. Big difference from our normal dinner for 20, but somehow i still spend a small fortune on supplies.

guster I’m laughing so hard at that while sitting in the dr office waiting room! 😂 Also, S just ate a piece of popcorn from her stroller seat. I cannot remember the last time she’s had popcorn...so it’s been there...awhile 🤷♀️.
