What are everyone's plans?

Evie is going to FIL and SMILs around 1 to make Christmas cookies and decorate a gingerbread house, then stay the night. H and I will pick her up tomorrow and watch the game.

I think we will finish Christmas shopping, although I have no ideas what to buy for the rest of our list. Then wrap presents. Today is one of my best friends birthdays so I'm going to see if she wants to come over for a glass of wine later.

I am currently making breakfast sandwiches for my children, lol.

Today we need to do some housework and I'd like to go out and find a jacket for my last Angel Tree kiddo. With the cold weather we've had, stores seem really picked over.

Tonight our sitter is coming so I can have dinner with a couple girlfriends. Not sure who's more excited, the kids or me

Morning! C has a really late shift tonight and his normal shift tomorrow, so I’m getting up with the kids both days.

We were suppose to go to my godmother’s Hanukkah party tonight but that has been cancelled due to the stay in place order. I never figured out what to do in place today. I will still read to L and E the book we have about Hanukkah and do some coloring pages for my godmother and send them to her.

I also need L to finish his thank yous for his birthday and start and finish his thank yous for the candy people bought from him for school. Plus a get well card for his “Uncle K” aka my coworker.

Morning - I stayed up late doing a final exam and my last discussion posts - just my capstone left🙌 We finally decorated the tree last night too, so that is festive. No plans today, I may do a online workout class to support the local studio and figuring out what to buy for the sponsor a family through preschool. 4 kids and one on the way I may do a drive up order for old navy or target and then wrap and drive across town to drop off.. we also still need to do inventory on gifts for the kids and finish up any orders.

Morning. I’m exhausted. Dh let me sleep in for a bit. I then took a shower with baby girl in the hope that it would wipe her out, it did 🥳. I should have slept some more, but dd/Ds wanted/needed & deserved some attention, so we got the Christmas boxes from the attic and decorated the tree and the house. I need to pick up some little things tomorrow, a small tree for ds (his old one was cursed by 2020 and died) & a wreath to his on the door. I really need new stockings too, I want nice personalised ones since our family is now complete , but that’ll be something for next year.

Morning! I headed to Walmart at 7am in search of the jj doll. I couldn’t find it and asked an employee who said someone else already asked and they don’t know where they are. I looked a bit longer and saw two guys looking too, they seemed like they were wanting it to resell and make money. I was about to give up when the employee came from the back of the store with a box of two, so she gave me one and was going to try and track down the other lady who was looking.

Day made! Never thought I’d be “that mom” hunting down toys... especially for a 1 year old who has no idea 😂

We’re going to my sisters today. They have a rink on the lake for the kids to ice skate. We haven’t really gotten together in like a month, so it’ll be so nice to feel normal for once. I’m getting so sick of being in my house.

Morning! I got in my long run before the rain started and we have plans to stay in all day, in pajamas. We finished Rudolph and are on Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and I promised we'd put together the gingerbread house.

Colin keeps making odd comments about Santa so I think the magic is ending. I figured we didn't have much time, with quite a few kids who already turned 8 in his class. He seems a bit sad about it so I need to have a private chat with him at some point to figure out exactly where he's at.

Other than that, not much planned. I have a couple cookie doughs in the freezer and 3 fudges (though I lost 2 in the mess), so there aren't too many other things to do for now. I do need to assess what we have and what's coming, then start wrapping. It's so hard with the boys always being here!!

Morning! MH is at work and it's a rainy day so not much happening here.

It is River's "birthday". He's a rescue so we just picked this day. He's at least 11 but probably older. Going to have MH pick up a treat or toy for him on his way home. Riv's gift to me was not running away when I let him out in the rain.

Just back from “boys club” as we call it. It’s really just a standing outdoor play date w a few of the boys from C’s preschool.

I’m going to head to the gym soon. And then idk... maybe Xmas shopping w my SIL.

MH is putting up the christmas lights today. First he has to clean the gutters though. I'm sure this will be an all day event.

Just spent a lot of FSA money. I had planned todo some dental work but thanks to 2020 we couldn’t get it done this year so I have to spend that money some other way now.

Assuming he is like MH... he'll decide the garage needs cleaning out, too, which will lead to filling up bike tires and deflated soccer balls, and sorting the tool box...yada yada. Looks like you're on your own today!

Hi! Last night was supposed to be a planned Christmas wrap. The wind got everything ready and then collapsed on the couch to watch Grey’s.
Luckily it’s a super foggy rainy day here, so the kids are moving between watching Christmas shows, sneaking candy from the fridge, and playing with the Amazon and target boxes as I unboxed and quickly run the presents up to my room.
I know we have a handful of things still coming in plus some of the relative gifts are also beginning to trickle in so those have to be wrapped too.
slenle, i’m so glad you got the JJ doll. I am on a search for Barbie Extra # 4. It’s the only thing Josie has asked for more than once. Apparently target is going to restock it.

Well I have a few more grey hairs...B&C had been outside playing with the usual band of neighborhood kids but I couldn't find them when it was time to come in. LSS, I found them, but we had a nice long chat about getting permission before going to friends' houses, etc.

We ran out and found the jacket I needed, got CFA for lunch, and now need to hit the grocery store for a few provisions for the sitter tonight. Pantry is pretty bare so I'm going to order a pizza for them.

slenle glad you found the doll! These are the things Christmas memories are made of My mom tells the story of helping her friend--who had 4 girls--look for Cabbage Patch dolls back in the early 80s before I was even born.

We set up a display and dressed my dad as Santa for my kids and my nephews so I did that this morning. Not I'm in the pedicure chair with a fresh manicure. My boys are sleeping over at my moms tonight so I plan to put mj down early and wrap gifts.

We are going to go to a drive thru holiday lights thing and then continue down to the beach house for the night. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 61 and we can use a change of scenery.

Afternoon all.

As MH’s shitty mood continued into yesterday after the kids went down we hashed it out, then I left and just drove around for an hour, cranked up the music, drive around a new area, looked at some Christmas lights.

Did all my grocery shopping which included all my baking stuff to get started on that this weekend, I should start now but I dont wanna leave this couch.

We sent the big kids to MH's parents and finally opened all the boxes of Christmas gifts. Whew! Realized C's look like not a lot compared to the others so ordered a couple more things for him!

I got them both bath bombs and a skittles candy cane.

M is getting Pokémon cards, a new dog man book, and a set of beyblades.

M2- binoculars, a movie, and a sticker book.

While I was out to grab a few things Mh texted me that he was taking the boys to the park, so I hurried back home to go through all the gifts. I have plenty for each kid. Phew! And SIL sent them so much, too.

We’re supposed to be doing salt dough ornaments in a bit. I’m making poppyseed chicken now and folding laundry.

I haven’t been as productive as I need to be, but I’m trying not to stress about that. It will get done when I get to it.

B: Sephora eye masks (she’s obsessed w the idea of a spa), target kiddie face mask, baby born surprise toy, j crew hair scrunchies and kiddie pearl bracelet, Disney princess press on nails, socks

C:hot wheels car, buzz light year ornament, pack of pj mask bandaids (kid loves band aids 🤷🏻‍♀️), avengers face masks, glider airplane set

Both are also getting a $5 gc to Dunkin’.
