Figured I'd start this to get some more action in here.
Weeks Pregnant:15
Baby is the Size of a: box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: STM
Team: find out
Appointments: had one Monday, heartbeat was great. Then i don't have another one for 6 weeks!!! But I have the anatomy scan then to look forward to. I'm just hoping i feel this baby kick sooner than i did DS cause that would be nice and comforting while i wait for the next appt.
How are you feeling? Much much better. Although DH did have to pull over for me to puke the othernight on the way to supper. And that has NEVER happened in my 28 years, never been a puker. Lost my mask out the door and managed to puke on the car door 🙄.
Rants/raves? Green smoothies are saving my life. While carbs sound so good my smoothies taste and make me feel better in the end. I make them pretty simple for breakfast for all of us and then try to always have leftovers for myself for afternoon or bedtime when I'm hungry all sudden.
GTKY: what are you most looking forward to for 2020 holiday season? Probably giving DH and DS their gifts and watching DS's joy through the whole season. He is obsessed with our matching pajamas and it's adorable. I haven't got out hardly any decor yet (still struggling to get the house caught up from the weeks i sat in my couch) and i know he's gonna love the nativity blocks when i get them out. And i love having the house decorated for Christmas so I'll pry leave it until February at this point 😂

Weeks Pregnant: 15w5d
Baby is the Size of a: box of crayons
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: Third-timer
Team: don’t know yet! We will find out at our next appointment!
Appointments: had one yesterday which was just to listen to HB and got some blood drawn for some test but I don’t remember which one lol. Next appt is first week of January for anatomy scan.
How are you feeling? Really good now that I’m out of the sick part. This one has been my worst of all my pregnancies. But feeling a lot better now. Just tired haha. I’m having random joint pain which I had last time too but right now that’s minimal.
Rants/raves? Chicken Caesar salads haha. Our grocery has the yummiest chopped salad kits and I’ve been throwing a rotisserie chicken on top.
GTKY: what are you most looking forward to for 2020 holiday season? The fact that we are doing a small Christmas this year haha. Like 2 small gifts for each kid (we went a little overboard last year lol). Also our youngest is 3 in January so he is finally old enough to be really into Christmas. So fun watching him obsess over the tree, ornaments, lights, etc.

Don’t mind me just popping in here haha. I’m mainly active on my BMB from my oldest so I forgot I had a new one 🤣

Weeks Pregnant: 15w5d
Baby is the Size of a: Hass avocado
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: Third!
Team: Pink.
Appointments: I go Monday for my 16 week. They need to draw a bunch more blood for the AFP screening and hopefully it goes quicker than last time.
How are you feeling? Better? I’m still tired. But I’m starting to think it’s more COVID/winter malaise than pregnancy related. Unisom/b6 is keeping nausea minimal.
Rants/raves? I’m just ready for COVID to be over, but of course it’s the worst it’s ever been. I want to fast forward to beginning of May and pray it’s winding down.
GTKY: what are you most looking forward to for 2020 holiday season? Spending time with H and my kids. H works a ton and on the weekends always has home improvement projects to do. I told him he has to stop until after New Years. Or at least do small inside things so we can see him.

The AFP scan! That’s what they took blood for. They didn’t do it with my other two so that’s why I couldn’t remember

Is it too early to get baby flutters?? I’m 16 weeks on Saturday. I have felt little flutters for a week or 2 now but wasn’t sure...after my appointment yesterday & seeing exactly(ish) where baby is (like how high up or low) I am thinking that’s what I’m feeling bc it is in the right spot. You’d think the third time now I’d know 🤣

dragonflyinn I have been feeling things randomly since a little after 14 weeks. Mostly after I eat and sit down to rest, which I guess is why I notice. Third time for me too, so I’m 99% sure they are real. I don’t remember feeling anything this early before and it threw me for a loop.

You’d think the third time now I’d know 🤣 I started feeling things at 15 weeks, and have definite kicks now at 17 weeks! Usually after I exercise if I lay down - bam, movement all around. Not too early, my MFM said I should be feeling some movement by now. And at my weekly scan, which is very thorough and takes awhile, I can track the movements while watching it. I think H should be able to feel them from the outside in the next few weeks.

Weeks Pregnant: 17
Baby is the Size of a: pop tart
FTM/STM/TTM/etc.: Fourth time mom 😁
Team: Girlll!
Appointments: MFM scan next week. Just did tons more blood work, I don’t even ask what for anymore lol. But all came back well. I am electing for a C section this time. I sat with my OB and talked it out with her. Through my tears (lol). She is 100% supportive of a c section, and says we will do it around 39 weeks unless my MFM says go earlier. I was worried she would say no to electing a C since I’ve never had one before. But with my last birth and all of the trauma, I told her I didn’t think I would make it through birth again. She said that’s a valid medical reason and we will schedule me in the OR. That’s a hugeeee relief. Huge. I’m going to make a c section question thread at some point.
How are you feeling? Much better! My biggest concern has been keeping excess weight gain at bay, and continuing with a healthy lifestyle especially with the c section as mentioned above. I’m trudging through.
Rants/raves? Loving my belly. And being “out” to work and friends. We have not announced on SM and may not ever, so it’s like “SURPRISE” when I run into people. Haha. The reactions have been great though. Tears and what would be hugs except for a pandemic. Ha.
GTKY: what are you most looking forward to for 2020 holiday season? Absolutely everything. I feel like it’s flying and want it to slow down.
