Morning. Quiet Tuesday here, the yard guy is out doing his thing and we have ballet and grocery shopping on the agenda.

Jcrew is doing 48% off (so specific!) so I may put in an order for a few things, both for gifts and for me. I need to refresh some sweaters.

Has anyone advise you to look into diet to help control some of the pain? I know that gluten is usually connected to e inflammation.

I have asked about dietary changes and been told there are no medical studies done to confirm dietary changes impact arthritis, so I haven't made changes. 

I have read that cutting dairy and meat help, on other FB groups.

Good ideas. I'm honestly not sure how long she will be waiting! I am going to get her a puzzle book cause she likes those.

Radiation usually doesn’t take too long. Usually patients are in and out in 30 min or less. Sometimes 10-15 min depending on the area. If he has other appointments/bloodwork/scans along with radiation- it may be longer. Sucks he will have a 3 hour round trip drive for a 20 min appointment. Could they rent a place closer for that 6 weeks?

I’m of no help... I got ds’ teachers nice waldorf style card holders to which I’ll add chocolates and a sweet card. For dds teacher I got a waldorf style wooden gardian angel.

How many do you have to buy for?

I did $20 for our 1st grade teacher and then $20 gift cards for the two preschool teachers we do zooms with the most. For specials and all I would do smaller amounts...I should check to see if the PTA is coordinating anything 🤔

I’m m the class parent, so I sent out an email over the weekend asking for donations to get a target gift card for first grade teacher. Most have been giving me about 25 dollars. A few people 30, one with a $50 donation. Then last night, I got a Venmo from one parent who gave 200. I wrote back to her and asked if she meant to do 20 and she said no. Said she really wanted to reward the teachers hard work for this year so she wanted to go above and beyond.

wineallthetime Thanks for reminding me. Our school does a collection early in the year to use for parties and gifts for the teachers. So they are doing a gift card. But I usually do something on top of that. So then I get all weird, like do I also do a gift card? Or what do I get? And how much? I think last year i did $50? I can't even remember.

Hey. S and I had a heart to heart this morning about preschool. She said the reason she hasn’t been wanting to go is because she’s scared about performing in the Christmas program in front of all the people. I talked to her teacher about it this morning and she basically said to over exaggerate how good she is at singing the songs and how proud of her we are. I don’t know that it’s going to work for her but it’s worth a shot. Yes, it is crazy they are still doing a program but her preschool legit doesn’t give a shit about covid. Other than that I’ve been working on more cleaning/laundry this morning. I am trying to print a shipping label for something I sold on fb and my printer is being a pain in the butt. If I can’t get it to print right I’m going to have to buy a new printer. Annoying, but this one is like 12 years old so it’s probably time. Nothing else planned for today except work this evening. Cross all your fingers and toes that V does better for my ILs tonight.

Only 1! Just C's teacher. I don't typically do anything for specials.... 😬
