Every boy name I suggest DH says there is a player on an opposing sports team with that name so it's out. Omg.

DH and I had the worst time deciding on a boys name. If this is another boy we are in trouble! I've been revisiting our boy name list and thinking of all the reasons we rejected them (DS ended up as Malcolm). DH doesn't like to talk about names until he knows the sex, so I'm on my own! Girls: Aoife (ee-fah) Iona/e Oona Orlagh (Orla) Saoirse (Sear-shah) Winifred Georgiana Rose Serena Mairead Boys: Eamon Duncan Ronan Rowan Theodore Russell Kieran C/Killian Gavin Lochlan Ewan Cormac August Hugh We have very similar taste in names. Almost every name you posted is on my list.

I'm not really thinking about names right now and definitely not talking to MH about them. He was the worst with DS. He said no to every single name I suggested except the one we chose.
Not only did he say no to all my names, he made fun of them. 😑 Oliver - tractor, might as well name him John Deere. So on and so forth with every name.
I also have the issue of finding a name that isn't popular. My DD has a popular name and I hate that there are so many. My "rule" is the name can't be in the top 200. But of course a lot of my fav names are popular.
My favorite names are Ruby and Dean, both are family names. But I likely won't use them due to popularity/MH Not liking them.

Yes, rebeccabunch, Irish names are way up there! We have a typical Irish last name and several on the list are family names. I'm torn between some of them being my favorites, and how annoying it will be to spell and pronounce them over and over all his or her life!

We were team green with DS, so if this babe is a girl she will be Madelyn Kathryn (my middle name). I've loved the name Madelyn for a long time. Also love Elisabeth and Amelia.
Boy name is going to be a challenge. We still have our list from DS, so we'll be pulling that out to see if any of those names are still keepers. Coming up with DS' name took awhile, so hopefully this one goes better.

We pretty much have our names decided, but MH keeps wanting to revisit our boy middle name. With DS I chose his first name and H agreed to it, but said DS's middle name had to be H's middle name. This time around H chose the boy name and I agreed to it, but I want the middle name to be my maiden name. H doesn't love it because it's only one syllable and he likes two+ syllable names. Really H, really?!?! Girl - Grace (Gracie) Noel Boy - Nathan Scott Nathan Scott like OTH!!!! Haha Ha! And DS is Lucas...

I am on team boy names are hard haha. Thank goodness for 3 girls! DD1 is Adeline Rose, DD2 is Corinne Melody, and DD3 will likely be Josephine Faith. Sticking with the -in(n)e theme I guess.

Yay baby names!
My H and I talk about baby names all the time even when I'm not pregnant, which is a bit strange. We're decided on Eloise (Ellie) Christine for a girl and Benjamin Alvin for a both. Those middle names are after my parents. My other two kids are named afternoon relatives as well.

There are a few players on opposing teams that I would refuse to name our kids no matter how much I loved the names. Fortunately I reserve that veto for only a small number of players (most of them Pittsburg Penguins or New England Patriots).

We had a reallllly hard time naming DS (Beckett), so we will have a really hard time coming up with a name if this is DS2.
Our favorite girl name is Gemma. I also love Josephine, Colette, Camille, and Genevieve.

We're on girl number 4 (5 if you count my loss, but we never officially named her. Kind of regretting that.) and while I think boy names are harder, I am at a loss for this little one! Sisters are:
Ry.ann Eliza.beth Els.ie Jo.ann Th.ea Lorr.aine
Middle names are always family names. Currently my list includes Adelaide, Arden, Greer, Genevieve, Harlow, Juliet and Lorelei. But I'm not 100% sold on any of those. I try to stay out of the top 150, won't use something that starts with a B, and nothing too 'weird'. I hate picking names!

aprilz81 I really love Clara, but feel like for me, Clara after Thea is too much the same since the others are all different. Love that naw though. Clara Joann could be a pretty name, Clara Jo. I love calling my middle Elsie Jo. 😊

So many great names listed! aprilz81 I love Matthew. It's one of my boys names. Boy names are easier for us than girl names DS1 would've been Lila Megan. I've loved the name since I was younger and would read Sweet Valley High. Lila was the twins brunette friend. I had blonde envy when I was younger. amesie my H wants your Lyla spelling. DS2 would've been Emily Megan. Scarlett and Alexandra are wildcards. Samantha's my fav girl name but there are a number of reasons we can't use it. I think I actually like the Lila spelling better! I despise names where people take out vowels and place it with a Y. So I might prefer Lila since it looks more natural. Although, id be afraid of people mispronouncing it as Lee-lah like Lilo and Stitch

We loved Penny too haha it was actually the first girl name we agreed on but would have been really bad with our LN. I'll be sad about that one forever haha I also loved Penny! But that too would go horribly with my last name haha Our DD is Penny! I've had a lot of trouble this time trying to decide a girls name I like as much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We're Team green, but DS is convinced that he is getting a sister. He thinks that Olivia would be a perfect name, since it is so close to his.
DH and I haven't talked about this time around, but last time we made a huge list /spreadsheet with all of our name combinations. We brought that list everywhere and asked peoples opinions. It really helped us narrow down our huge list by hearing the names aloud so much.

So we already have our girl name picked out from when we were deciding for DS. I am set with that (girl names are sooo much easier!!). So that is Lorelei Elyse. Others that we like: Piper Saskia Liese Aspen Margaret (Maisie) Saoirse
For boys DH and I are having trouble deciding (and we are worried to get ahead of ourselves with discussing but that doesn't mean I haven't been collecting names lol).
My faves so far: Sebastian (dh doesn't like) Remy Thatcher Eli Finn Oliver Windsor Wellington Remmington
with middle names Alistair Gardner (family name) Olivier Porter
