I'm trying to power through a lot at work today so I can hopefully finish a little early. There's a case I've been dragging my feet on because it's a convoluted nightmare, but I want to finish it today so I don't have to think about it anymore.

M really, really, really wants rats. vino and wineallthetime you could jam with her if you were here because she's cranked up the Justin Bieber station while she's cleaning the living room and kitchen. Girlfriend is doing the dishes right now. She wants to show that she can be responsible so she actually woke up, got dressed, and combed her hair when her alarm went off. I wonder how long I can keep dangling the carrot.

It’s so bad, it’s good imo. It does need a few serious trigger warnings for loss, dv & it’s set in a bar for a big part.

Eta and the filming location (BC, Canada) is to die for. My h watched with me and just drools over the scenery .

This is why we watch, too. It's not my typical kind of show but the romance is sweet and the scenery is beautiful. My mom and dad actually watch it, too. Dad wants to plan their next big trip for BC thanks to the show, lol.

Hiiii. I took pto to do a bit of yardwork and catch a cheesy holiday movie but Chase's daycare needed a few people to pick their kids early to avoid mixing pods, so I traded my quiet afternoon to myself for some time with Chase. I'll probably put the Grinch on once Col is done with school and try to think of a fun snack for our unexpected afternoon together.

I think I have mentioned that they're building a house across the street. Chase misses out all week because it's dark by the time he gets home, so we walked over to watch for a few minutes. After waving down to Chase, the workers raised a big piece of the second floor facade - kid was shaking with excitement. So cute.

Hi. I had the morning free so I got our bathroom deep-cleaned and then went for a manicure. C and I got groceries for B's bday dinner tomorrow and came home to watch Anastasia, which I am pleased to report is on Disney+ now. She lost interest once B got home so now I'm watching by myself. Not sure if that's a confession or achievement

We're going out for Mexican tonight and the thought of a margarita is heaven.

wineallthetime Glad your dad can continue his recovery in his own home, I'm sure he is happy to be out of the hospital.

That's cute joelies. Kids are funny. When our neighbor in VA had a couple ancient HUGE magnolias taken down, my kids were enrapt. Highlight of our Covid homebound time

I ended up just getting the digital image from the shop and ordered the canvas from Costco because I wasn't sure if the canvas would make it to me fast enough other wise. The guy was really quick with the digital image (maybe 1.5 days after I sent pictures).
