Good morning! Can I just say how amazing klong11 has been! She’s the MVP of birthday posts! Not only did she start the threads , but she always had the PERFECT card/picture/meme/whatever to go with it for each kiddo and their personality and/or favorite things. You rock my friend!

Good morning, from CA. My sister is here with me this time and we're hoping to convince my parents to move. Today is my dad's 87th birthday & poor thing has 5 doctors appts. The neurologist still doesn't know what caused this recent ER visit. There are no signs of any new strokes, just his previous ones. We'll see if any of the doctors come up with something today.

I saw this video on how to make hot cocoa bombs if anyone is interested in trying. I can’t remember who was asking about it the other day.

trtlcrzy, I'd make them myself, but I don't have enough experience tempering chocolate. I seem to screw it up almost every time. I should try though. That might be a fun weekend activity for me and Cadence.

Just got a message that Cadence had yet to log in for school. Had to call mh. Apparently she woke him up at 8:30 to discuss the elf's location and he realized she hadn't logged in. Maybe I do need to get a dot so it can give her verbal reminders on the days I'm not there.

I don’t know why, but my heart dropped when I read the first sentence. I said my gosh she’s back in CA.

I put together the Mrs. Claus box (i’ve actually started crying at the “start of the season” box, so I don’t have to keep up with another story about magic and how she gets here.
Our PTO is doing a gingerbread house fundraiser, so I ordered two sets and will pick them up tomorrow morning.

It’s been an interesting start to the morning here at work. Things just aren’t going as smooth as usual, but we’re making it. Cannot wait for 2pm.

I think we’ll finally go get our tree today. I was supposed to get it on my day off this week, but I worked all week and the weather was sucky anyway. Hopefully we can find a decent one. MH wants to just put up our fake tree, but it’s a cheap target one from 6 years ago and I cannot get over how Charlie Brownish it looks, so we need to get rid of it.

That recipe uses almond bark, so no tempering necessary
