I just got the call that he's negative! So now we can continue to hunker down until the c-section so I can have this baby as planned in less than 2 weeks!

I felt a bit better this morning but still in a lot of pain. Saw my chiro who said it definitely isn’t my tailbone but ligaments connected to that area. He did a lot of work and had some good suggestions on how to keep from further injuring myself. I am feeling even better after seeing him but still not 100%. I’m better mentally though so that feels good.

She’s here and is perfect, but it was not a fun experience. The induction was rough and so different than my experience with DS. She’s doing great with nursing, though, and my recovery is better than last time. Still working on the name!

HI! It’s been insane but I have an outside baby! We’re both doing well. I’ll come back soon-ish with more. We should do a birth stories thread if anyone is interested.

I’m so glad we have an ENT appt tomorrow. My nipples are cracked and bleeding. How is everyone else doing?

I’m so glad we have an ENT appt tomorrow. My nipples are cracked and bleeding. How is everyone else doing? UGH I’m sorry. G had his cardiology visit and it didn’t go great. Thank the Lord DD has a healthy normal heart, but G’s stenosis is getting worse and he is facing surgery (balloon dilation). I’m nervous and just want to keep him safe. Also he is such a fatty and I love it. For reference, DD was 12 pounds at her 4 month visit. Today, at 6 weeks, G was 11 pounds 😂

No- we go back in a month to check it again and I’m so very hopeful it won’t have changed any more.

We're doing well, other than my poor nipples 😂. Recovery has otherwise been a breeze this time. Trying to figure out our new routine so I can manage to get some housework done (and grab a meal before I'm ravenous). I feel like I'm sitting down either breast feeding, pumping, or holding a sleeping baby all day.

ENT appt is done. Posterior tongue and upper lip ties released and now my baby is acting like he’s never nursed before. 🙄

I think hormones combined with feeling overwhelmed and like I’m doing everything wrong with my big kids. It sucks. I have no patience.

polson, we haven’t started using the snoo yet. He’s in our bed in a cosleeper right now because the first night he kept spitting up enough to make me want him super close. He’s been waking 2-3 times each night so we haven’t made the transition yet but I think we will once he’s back to birthweight. Holy cow 4 pounds!!! That is an amazing gain!!

Early days are rough, especially when older kids are involved. Take care of yourself!
