I'm hoping to get some Christmas card photos tonight after bath time. FX. I may be doing the same in a few nights. I didn’t get the thanksgiving pics I wanted to get because being hostess did not work out with being available for pics. The only pic I got was the boys with their cousin. |

I did the same. I had the kids outside one of those super warm weekends a few weeks back and had them pose/play in front of whatever bright foliage I could find and I just chose the best from that collection. I ordered from snap fish this year and I’m pretty happy with the quality. I do wish the envelopes were a little bit thicker but I know they’re just going to get recycled anyway. Team DGAF this year. We had inspiration for a photo. My FiL took a few crappy snaps on Thanksgiving. MH ordered without consulting me (I had to be like Elsa and let it go because I would have picked a different color scheme and message), but hey, at least he took initiative on something that would normally be on me. We have them in hand and will start addressing soon. Do you send a joint card with your in-laws? |

I started the steroids (medrol) today. The ortho told me they might give me feel extra energetic (he said when he had to taken them he was power-washing his deck at 10pm) and also potentially make me feel grumpy.
I typically hate medicine and this seems to be no exception. I just feel jittery and I still have two more to take two more tonight.

No card here this year. My family is a mess.
Today was fun. Ended up getting L and A tested for COVID. I doubt they have it but it was recommended because of symptoms and with MH and I working outside the house I wanted to be sure we aren't spreading it.

I usually do all candies bc I never get good professional/ posed shots of the boys. But I always try to perfectly cultivate the card. This year, I picked a card, popped the photos in and was like - yup that’s good to go lol.
Edit. Ha I do candids. Not candies.

Finally saw Dash and Lily. It was okay. I don't need any sequels though so I hope they stop.
Holiday in the Wild came out last year kn Netflix and it's one of my favorites. If you're looking for a feel good that's actually very watchable that's it.

If you're looking for a feel good that's actually very watchable that's it. I pushed through Dash and Lily and I’m glad I did. I wanted to bail after one episode. I don’t like the male lead. I have been very unhappy with Netflix’s holiday movie list for this year. Jingle Jangle was great and The Princess Switch Again was okay, but the rest were all pretty unwatchable. |

peachsmama happy birthday. flamingo happy belated. I was not interested in a chiropractor but then my sister introduced me to one that was also a DO. He was great because he would do his voodoo stuff on my face for sinus issues but then also prescribe antibiotics and he had a water massage table. Unfortunately, he did not treat pregnant women so I stopped going when I got pregnant with T and then he retired. Oh bummer...it stinks to lose someone good that you like! My sister's neighbor is one and gets fabulous reviews so that is probably where I'll go if I decide to try it. I've had minor back stuff periodically but sometimes I think a lot of it just goes with being tall, or when I was in HS/college, from rowing. But this is definitely more painful/lasting longer than usual. |

I still need to order birth announcements...clearly I’m on top of things. I ordered matching jammies and when they come in I’ll get some pics of the girls to put on the Christmas card.
Apparently V cried from the time I left at 6 until around 7 when she passed out for 30 minutes. I felt bad for leaving her like that with my ILs but I had to get to work. I’m not sure what I did wrong to cause the issue because most nights she’s fine, this just happens on occasion. Hopefully Thursday goes better for them.
