Nope.  They tried giving him water and he choked.  When I spoke to the nurse in the ER I explained we've been thickening everything for him.  Speech therapy needed to evaluate him for swallowing before they'd give him any food and they said they usually don't come to the ER since they're so busy upstairs.  He's hooked up to an IV but, it's not the same as eating.  lol.

He's still in the ER.  I'm waiting on a call back.

Morning. Sounds like it’s the beginning of late nights for H so I need to get my house picked up and cleaned for when my ILs come over to watch the girls when I work. I feel like I get everything picked up and by the end of the day they’ve got little piles of toys all around the room. Drives me insane. I also need to wash my clothes so I have something to wear to work tonight.

Morning all.

The kitchen contractors will be finishing up today around 2pm, even though it's only been a two day job I just want it all back together. I cant wait to organize the new drawers that were put in as opposed to the deep cabinets that we had where tupperware went to die. So far it looks amazing and really finishes off the house renos.

I'm also currently in a battle with the wayfair bots, I want a hall tree and I KNOW that the price will go down so I keep moving it in the cart, out of the cart, deleting from cart as if it will make a difference. MH says 'everyday that you keep doing this is one more day we dont have it in our house, ORDER IT' shhhhh husband I'm busy getting a deal...

It sucks being so far away.  My sister and I are kind of afraid he doesn't have much time left, you know?

chrisy01 is amazing and offered to drive down there if I needed her to, but there's not really anything that can be done at the moment.

Hi.

Another busy day at work. I’m ready for it to be over.

SIL just texted that her H is positive. It’s really going through MH’s side of the family. She’s just waiting to see if she will get symptoms.

I asked Mh to find the elf the other day and apparently he found it and put it in a spot where M goes to look for treats. So when I got home, M says I found Tickle! He points to him and I see a grocery bag and the elf’s feet sticking out of it in plain sight.🤦🏽‍♀️ I gave MH the death stare and proceeded to tell M that Santa must have planted him there in the cabinet in a bag so he could quarantine for a day before his magic brought him to life. Talk about annoyed at MH. 😠

I moved him this morning and put his note out and where he could find all the special things he will need for this month (Christmas pjs, the holiday dinnerware, treats, and a new Christmas book). He should find it when he gets home this afternoon.

Yesterday I got a ton done. It took longer with everything due to lines because of Rona restrictions.

In the office today. My office is usually hot no matter what the weather. It's fucking freezing in here today. This building is such a hole.

I have bought way too much for the girls tonight so to stretch it out a little they are getting a Mrs. Claus gift tonight. Never done it before but I'm excited to give them an early gift.

Last night MIL and M were on FaceTime and they were talking about how much birthday money he has and what he wants for Christmas. When she asked him I heard... I found 12!

Me: you found 12 what?

MIL::laughs::

M again : I found 12!

Me: you found 12 what? Dollars?

MIL: he said he wants an iPhone 12.

Me: 🤔😆😑 Where did you get that from? How do you know about iPhone 12??

M: I saw a commercial.

This is what I want when we update our kitchen...my mom has nice pull-out drawers IN her lower cabinets for small appliances, etc. So handy. One of my cabinets is also a tupperware graveyard right now so I'm jealous of your new set-up!

jewels that is kind of how I did my card last year and it was probably my favorite of any I've ever done. Typically I agonize!

Whew! 2 check-ins in one day, a deployment record.

We had another roofer out today for an estimate...waiting on 1 more and then I have to decide. Of course DH can review things but I'm the one who's been talking to these people, etc. so I feel like the onus is on me to make the call. Argh.

Also, add me to the back/neck/shoulder pain list. Getting old sucks. I think I threw something out last week trying to vacuum a ceiling vent. It's gotten better but by the end of the day is pretty sore; DH wants me to try a chiropractor (I've never seen one before) but I've been so busy, plus the holiday last week. But I may call later this week if I don't see more improvement.

Still no food. Physical therapy came by and had him walking up and down the hallways and they seem to be pleased. They don’t think he needs to be transferred to a nursing home as long as he continues to do physical therapy at the house, but they need to speak to the numerologist. We’re still waiting on speech therapy.

I did the same. I had the kids outside one of those super warm weekends a few weeks back and had them pose/play in front of whatever bright foliage I could find and I just chose the best from that collection.
I ordered from snap fish this year and I’m pretty happy with the quality. I do wish the envelopes were a little bit thicker but I know they’re just going to get recycled anyway.

Team DGAF this year. We had inspiration for a photo. My FiL took a few crappy snaps on Thanksgiving. MH ordered without consulting me (I had to be like Elsa and let it go because I would have picked a different color scheme and message), but hey, at least he took initiative on something that would normally be on me. We have them in hand and will start addressing soon.

flamingo happy belated. I was not interested in a chiropractor but then my sister introduced me to one that was also a DO. He was great because he would do his voodoo stuff on my face for sinus issues but then also prescribe antibiotics and he had a water massage table. Unfortunately, he did not treat pregnant women so I stopped going when I got pregnant with T and then he retired.
