I really want to start decorating for Christmas but we’ll probably wait until this weekend. I’ve wanted a taller (fake) tree for our vaulted ceilings forever, but Dh is not into it. But then my sister talked him into going to a tree farm and cutting own down m. I think he’ll regret not letting me buy one when he realizes how expensive a 10’ real tree will be. Ha.

We are just having ILs for thanksgiving day. It’s our first time cooking for thanksgiving and I’m looking forward to it. MIL will bring stuffing, but we’ll do everything else. It’ll be the first time not being at my parents for thanksgiving with my whole family, so that’ll feel strange!

Hey. My kids only have 2 days of school this week so I ran to target when S was at school. After I picked her up she asked me if she could get a toy. I told her no, because she doesn’t need a toy “just because” which caused her to throw a big fit. She’s dramatic normally but this was too much. I told her to take a nap when she was done with lunch but I don’t think she did. My house is a mess from the weekend so I will be working for the next 3 days to get it clean and picked up for thanksgiving.

trtlcrzy thanks for the PSA on the Echo Show. That was a great deal. I ordered them and I had one sent right to my parents house as an early Christmas gift. I'm sure they'll love it.

So apparently the head partner had some huge party for his adult daughter over the weekend. Smokey spent her entire shift in a mask(which is VERY unusual for her) and gasping for air when he came near her. It was interesting to watch. She also went off on all rich people because they are the problem, according to her. Keep in mind most days she walks around with her hand over her mouth instead of a mask and using that same hand to touch printer buttons and cabinet doors without washing her hands once.

Seriously! Last week I walked out of my office and got about 10 feet and realized I forgot my mask. Nobody was in the hall but I threw my shirt over my mouth and ran back for it.

I got home and grabbed M from the neighbor’s house. He immediately requested fried eggs. This is from the kid who doesn’t even eat scrambled. He claimed he tried them before and they taste just like boiled eggs. Okay... so I made him three fried eggs and he ate them all.

So weird, but I’ll take it. One more thing I can cook him that takes little time and effort.

He also started eating hamburgers like this, too. Just one day requested a “steak burger”and we never looked back. He’s been eating hamburgers ever since. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have to be at the honeybaked ham store tomorrow at 800am and at my Realators at 1200 (they give away free pie to clients each year).

I bought these for C but have found them helpful for myself. I keep my mask on top of my bag and slip this on like a necklace before I leave the house. Now it’s second nature and just part of my leaving the house routine.

Not done yet. Waiting on a few new addresses then they will be ready to mail Friday. I am mailing the international ones today.
