I've always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine. I used one once in high school to make a costume, but it was with a lot of help and some janky stitches and I don't really remember much except I was not great at it. I am working on some sewing projects with a friend (I do the cutting and pinning and she sews) and I definitely need to have her teach me how to sew.
I have also always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet, but I'm not sure I have the attention span for it.

Sewing is still on my list. I'd love to be able to sew some curtains, rag quilts, pajama pants for the kiddos. Nothing too crazy.
I'd love to learn to water ski and wakeboard. I was able to get up on skis a few times in high school and college, but I was never "good" at it.

I was trying to learn to play the ukulele, but I didn't keep up with it, so I'd love to actually make time for that. I'd also like to try skiing, even though it seems like a bad idea if I think about it.
I always wanted to learn to scuba dive, and I did, but I haven't been since my checkout dive about 15y ago. It's expensive.

I LOVE learning new things. I'm reading all of these things and being all, "I want to learn the guitar! I want to scuba dive! I want to wakeboard!"

Bake bread and make pasta.
I wouldn't mind learning to skate board on a long board. But our street is not the greatest for this right now. Maybe next year when they finish adding a curb and all of the construction in our area. and then I could teach E as well.
Yoga is another one. I'd like to start taking classes.
And working on sewing and knitting.

I want to learn to paint. I bought a little pan of watercolours a few months ago and haven't touched them.

I'm like Maple, I love learning new things, especially domestic things like crochet, quilting, baking, gardening, animal husbandry...
DH is always trying to have me learn different things that he likes doing, I think he pictures us being like this power couple of whatever male dominated activity it is. Currently disc golf, which was fun until he started participating in competitions and wanted me to do them too. (You're supposed to get the disc in the basket in 3 shots and I'm doing great if I can do it in 6!) This past week he's been trying to convince me to do a clinic with a professional woman disc golfer. Ummm DH, I'm embarrassed if YOU try to help me, dnw to involve a professional.
I've always wanted to train a regular sized horse to pull a buggy and give rides to people or compete in shows. In high school I trained a team of miniature horses to pull a wagon and it was so much fun but what they could do was limited due to their size.

We did it as a family cooking project and it was really fun and turned out well. burlingtonvt.citymomsblog.com/2016/04/04/homemade-pasta/I taught myself to make bread as a teenager using this old cookbook my mom had. I really like the Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day method, which requires no kneading. artisanbreadinfive.com

I would like to learn an instrument (violin is my favourite) and to make French pastries. My husband is French and he misses the pastries terribly. We've tried a few times to make eclairs but they never turn out quite right.

Also sewing and quilting. I sewed in high school but I can't remember the first thing about threading a machine or cutting out fabric. I want to sew L's Halloween costume this year and make a quilt for him.

I've always wanted to learn to play piano and take voice lessons. Also, I've always wanted to have 6 pack abs, but have never been willing to do what it takes to achieve them. Lol.

bull riding. I know it's so dangerous, but I always thought it could make a good career.

I want to learn Russian, literally just because I love the way it sounds. I really enjoy learning languages, but it's hard when you try and do it alone lol

I just bought a skateboard because I've always wanted to know how to do it. Yesterday was my first time really out with it and despite my one major wipe out I did pretty well. I don't think over learned a new skill since I had taught myself how to sew, so it's really fun getting the experience of new successes. BM ( stringy) recently took up skateboarding again, what a coincidence.

I have some crazy athletic goals/things to learn. I'd like to become more proficient with the sewing machine. I would like to re-learn Spanish. I took 6 years in hs but can barely remember it now.

Surf, scuba, live on a boat.
Speak another language better, play an instrument well, travel the world.

I'd love to knit, but I think because I learned to crochet first I'm doomed to be terrible at it.
It wasn't on my list, but I'm learning a lot about baseball. I even have a hand-me-down glove that I do long toss with D with.
I'd love to learn how to record and mix music. I worked in a music store in college and got to play with a 4 track recorder. It was so fun.
A couple friends have Cri-cuts or whatever the other one is called and they make vinyl cutouts to put on those yeti knock-off cups. They've almost convinced me I need one.
