It’s Friday ladies what’s going on?

I'm off work today. Running errands and cleaning the house for Evies little birthday party tomorrow. I hope to watch some Netflix or Hulu and enjoy the quiet as well, but have quite the list of things I'd like to accomplish today.

Both kids have school, so I’ll run to the grocery store and home goods before I have to get Charlie, and then we’re refinancing on the house so the lawyers are coming here at 4.

Morning. SSDD over here. Had a midwifes appointment, they’re freaking me out! She’s on call on Sunday/Monday and said she was expecting my call 😱 (I’ll be 39 weeks Tuesday). Kids are at my parents, so a few hours to relax, netflix here I come.

Dh and I started the Harry Quebec affaire last night, the show is as slow as the book, but it is good semimindless entertainment.

Sitting at the pedi's office. I think Cadence has a uti. I was going to go to work and get her an afternoon appointment, but she was complaining of pretty severe pain this morning, so first thing it is. We'll see how it goes.

Poor C klong11. I hope she feels better soon. I used to get UTIs a lot, the worst.

Did they actually give you a cup or the hat thing that fits on the toilet seat, then you dump it into the cup, so much easier for littles.

I hope C feels better klong11! Unfortunately we are no stranger to this process. B has only had 1 UTI but I’ve taken her a handful of times bc she complains of pain - in those cases I think it was wiping issues.

Lol.  M peed all over my hand when she had to do it the first time.  Granted she was 3.5 but still.   I hope they're able to give her something.

Same old same old for me today too. I’m going to run over to B’s school during our lunch break and turn in her homework from the week and the spelling test she had this morning.

This is one of those things where a boy is soooo much more convenient! Same with peeing while outdoors .

my dad called at 1:30am to see if he had a flight today.  lol.  They said yesterday that he had experienced some confusion at night, which is what happened the last time too.  I'm hoping to talk to someone today.

Same old work life over here. I desperately need to finalize Cass' Clue scavenger hunt.

Last night we watched Twitches 2 and Mistle-Tones. They loved them both. Cass insisted we dance together at Mistle-Tones and her heart was aflutter by the end.

Confession: I made a spreadsheet of the remaining moons I need to get on Mario Odyssey so I could track it easier.

So just when she thought peeing in a cup was the most awkward thing ever, the doc whipped out the swabs.
Her urine came back with a high white count, so they are holding it overnight to see if bacteria grows.
They swabbed to test for strep and something else.
The doc will call me later to see if anything came out of the swab tests and tomorrow I'll get a call on the urine and if she needs to start antibiotics.

Hi. I’m here... alive. It was a rough night. Just awful. My stomach wanted to flip inside out because it kept trying to force things up, but there was nothing in there to force up.

Just got out of bed a half hour ago and ate the rest of my soup. Taking it easy today. M mentioned something about them celebrating his birthday today at school, so I emailed the teacher to see if I could bring cupcakes for the class.

Not much else going on.

They want to make sure there is bacteria present first. She's allergic to 2 of the drug options and don't want to put her on anything unnecessarily.

Morning. SSDD. Last night I had to train the girl I was training on Tuesday again. I’m glad I don’t have to train her again, she’s a very entitled 24 year old. Thinks she deserves nights/weekends off because she’s the youngest person and wants to go out. Def not how it works.

lahdeedah I hope you’re past the worst of it and are feeling much better today.

klong11 I hope something comes back so she can have antibiotics to make her feel better. I don’t think H has had to pee in a cup yet, but S has a few times. They usually put a hat in the toilet with 3 cups inside hoping she will hit one.

He’s better! My MIL is still there but they’re going to get both grandparents into the same new facility. They won’t be in the same room since grandma would be on the memory care side and grandpa would be on assisted living side, but they’ll still be able to see each other. It was supposed to be next week but they delayed the opening.
