Our Prime purchases should arrive today! I'm more excited than I should be to bust out the new Hoover on DD's bedroom. mkrupar, the week has definitely dragged by for me too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So my bp got high last night. It eventually came back down. But I guess I was fretting about it in my sleep, because I had an awful dream this morning. I was at my 3hr test. For some reason they decided to check my bp. It was super high. They wanted to take me to triage. I got up to walk and just was too weak. I ended up laying down on the floor right there instead. I told them I hadn't fallen. I just kinda sank to the floor because I was too weak to walk. Thankfully I woke up right after that. But goodness. Dream hangovers are no fun.

rebeccabunch Yayayay! Congrats! ssm What a vivid dream. I'm glad it was just that - only a dream! Hope you don't have any more BP spikes in the future. thatgirlrachel Wohoo for prime stuff coming! I used to loooove opening Amazon packages when we lived in the states, Oh the thrill! Today was just another typical day. My bump/skin must have stretched out overnight, because I felt much much better this morning. No more Sigourney Weaver in Alien feeling. DH has also finally mastered the ability to duplicate the chunky strawberry bowl/smoothie from Jamba Juice. Yessssssss. The Vitamix is the one appliance we brought with us from the states when we moved here....we had to buy a transformer the size and weight of a car battery to get it to work on the power system here...but now that I can have Jamba chunky strawberry smoothies all the time...worth it.

Congratulations rebeccabunch! Add me to "getting all the packages" this week because of Prime Day and other sales. I have Rosetta Stone German levels 1-5 coming today (super early birthday present for myself) and I'm really excited to play with it! I took 5 years of German through high school and college, but sadly it has not stuck. Hoping this will help bring it back! Also, Photobucket is no longer letting me host images for posting here. I updated my signature photo to a different hosting site - can someone who can see siggies tell me if you can see the pic in mine?

Congrats rebeccabunch!!! ssm, dreams are crazy right now. Glad your BP went down. I slept on the couch last night and it was glorious. My hips and back didn't hurt at all. I'm counting the minutes until tomorrow. H surprised me and got me a prenatal massage and I can't wait!

DD has been sleeping poorly lately, she woke up just before 5 crying... I didn't want to bring her into my bed because this is day 2 in a row and H has to get up around that time for work. When I work her up she had pooped herself, I felt really bad that I made her cry and sleep in her poop.

rebeccabunch, hurray! My rock n play is ready for pick up, so doing that today. Also flying out for my dad's wedding. I've decided the man needs to pick a month other than July if he does this again. This is his 3rd July wedding, and I'm leaving highs in the 70s for the 90s. I am not sure i love him enough for this.

August Blooms Sorry about your DD not sleeping so well. Try not to beat yourself up about not changing her - we're not clairvoyant - she won't remember anyways. Hoping tonight is better for you guys.

I'm so jealous of everyone's baby purchases. I'm on a spending freeze as we work on our budget.

I can't remember who got a crib mattress pad on prime day, but I wanted to recommend picking up a second one sometime over the next few months. Both of ours are in the wash thanks to DS's puke fest last night. Sigh.
Since I'm already working from home today I have him here. I'm not sure if it's s something he ate or a bug, but figured with 3 episodes I shouldn't risk it. Of course he's been acting fine this morning.

Aw, August Blooms I've done that. In fact, last night as I was getting in bed I heard DS sneeze or cough, so I didn't go in to check on him before I laid down. DH then went in and called me saying he was covered in puke. Whoops. He didn't cry or anything, so I didn't know.

ssm, glad your BP is down again and Boo about vivid dreams. I had a similar one last night about me having contractions and it freaked me out when I had to wake up to go potty and realized it wasn't real. Taitai, please share your JJ strawberry smoothie! Strawberries are peak here now and we've been eating them everyday in every way imaginable lol! I wished I could make a nice creme patisserie strawberry tart! Yum! Maybe next year and by that time fella#2 can enjoy it too!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR YOU rebeccabunch! Sorry about your dream ssm. Those dreams really suck. trinitrotoluene, hopefully there is a lot of A/C wherever you're going. We've been roasting where I live and it's the worst. AFM, I'm stewing about daycare rates. PDQ, but we're currently paying the same as when he was an infant, and the drop for when he turns two is minuscule. I'm struggling to understand why. Cue freak out about having two in daycare.

So we've been working on pushing back DS wake/sleep schedule in prep for starting pre-school next month! Yikes! How is this happening already. So far so good but that means I am no longer getting my 30 mins of silence teatime in the am unless I wake up at 530 which could happen since sleep has been crappy all around. Yesterday was challenging keeping DS out of the plumbers way and I am a little sore from it so hoping today I can put my feet up a bit.

Seriously CoachTsWife! We knew we'd have the amount, but now that we'll actually have to spend it, ugh. And they're raising their rates by $5 a week in August. 💸

cougarette I've done that too, she made some noise, we didn't check and in the morning it was everywhere and stunk. Thanks for the kind words ladies, the mom guilt is real. CoachTsWife Our rates don't really drop for daycare since we are at a center. It' drops $5-10 a week, from infant to toddler and from toddler to preschool. This is the reason why we are looking at the family budget to see if we can really pay down some debt before we have two in daycare. I do get a year mat leave but still the ideal of paying over $2000 a month of just daycare has me stressed even though it won't be for another 16 months.

cougarette, LT for support. We had an increase earlier this year as well. August Blooms, that's good to hear. With the increase we just had we're really paying the same for a two year old as we did for an infant. I was so caught off guard by that. The contract says we'll have a rate decrease when the child turns 2, I guess I assumed it would be something a little more than $5. Yes, rachydc, so terrifying. Bye bye monies.

I think he puts peanut butter and digestive biscuits in it...plus bananas and strawberries and almond milk and some other stuff. Will let u know 😀
