So our nearly 2 year old still rarely sleeps through the night. At his best, it was 75% of the time, then we moved him to another state and all was lost. He wakes up and needs us to come in and cuddle him in order to go back to sleep. He can go down awake and go to sleep on his own, but he doesn't seem able to wake up and just go back to sleep. Now he can climb out of his bed, and he is a huge headbanger, so I don't want to leave him to brain himself in his room. Any ideas to help him, or keep this from being my life with 2.0 in 2 years?

I just scored a pair of maternity skinny jeans (that actually fit) for $8.50 at Belk! It will be hot for the remainder of my pregnancy but I can use them for our casual Friday's at work. I also got a Carter's footed sleeper for $4. It's a good day.

ssm , glad your BP is down again and Boo about vivid dreams. I had a similar one last night about me having contractions and it freaked me out when I had to wake up to go potty and realized it wasn't real. Taitai , please share your JJ strawberry smoothie! Strawberries are peak here now and we've been eating them everyday in every way imaginable lol! I wished I could make a nice creme patisserie strawberry tart! Yum! Maybe next year and by that time fella#2 can enjoy it too! I will ask DH for his recipe tomorrow and share! I think he puts peanut butter and digestive biscuits in it...plus bananas and strawberries and almond milk and some other stuff. Will let u know 😀 I'd never think of putting digestives..intrigued! Gah I am out of digestives though and there's only 1 store in the city at the studio I was working at that I could pick them up from. hmmm I am sure I can get it from Amazon. must check! I wish american's had digestives and oatys - they are soooo good! DS loves them too. SaveSave

I just realized I did not think through my decisions today. Two cookies this afternoon. Two Dr Pepper (fountain mediums) My 3hr test tomorrow.
But by then, that should be out of my system, right?
OH! And they said nothing after midnight. So I can have a bedtime snack to try and tide me over until lunch tomorrow!

Passed my glucose test but I'm anemic again. I just thought pregnancy getting older and a toddler was kicking my butt. Indulged in something I shouldn't have yesterday and I'm paying for it today.

If you downed a Dr. Pepper and then did the test, there may be an issue.

Another shopping PSA: target has nursing bras 20% off with code "NURSING". I'm not sure how long the sale will last, probably through Saturday?
DH is going to cut my credit card, lol.

trinitrotoluene I really am no help here - my DS (27 months) is also a terrible sleeper and has always been. He can't even go down to sleep without someone being next to him and patting his back/singing. He will also often wake up in the middle of the night, and DH will inevitably need to go in the room and lay down with DS to get him back to sleep. We tried to sleep train at various times since 4 months, but DS would cry so hard that he would make himself vomit - and I just couldn't deal with that. So....no help from me. Just commiseration. We're hoping and praying that as DS gets older, he will become better at sleeping in bed all by himself.

Received my Lillebaby 6-1 All Seasons and made DH try it on since I couldn't due to my belly. I'm excited to use it!! It was like Christmas opening all the boxes this evening.

OMG we received a full price offer from one of the house showings this evening! I'm shocked. The house has been on the market for two days.
I fully prepared myself for a long sale. Fingers crossed this goes smoothly!

duskymonkey Here is the Jamba Juice strawberry chunky bowl/smoothie dupe recipe, compliments of DH. I guess he uses granola - not digestive biscuits. Enjoy! Ingredients 1/2 cup almond milk 1/4 cup greek yogurt 1-2 TB sugar* (or honey) 1 cup frozen strawberries 3 TB peanut butter 1/2 cup granola 1 banana, sliced Instructions 1. Place almond milk, greek yogurt, sugar, strawberries and peanut butter into a Blendtec or other high powered blender. Pulse until it is mostly smooth, with some small chunks. The mixture will be like a very thick smoothie. 2. Scrape strawberry mixture into a bowl. Top with granola and sliced banana. Note: You can use 1 or 2 tablespoons sugar or honey depending on how sweet you prefer it to be.

Well, we actually decided not to continue pursuing the house next to my dad. We are putting in an offer on another home in the same area today.
