Any suggestions for something I can target pickup and drop off for my nephew to do while he’s quarantined in their basement? He’s 11, and very much into sports.

Oh no, @ slenle. Do you just watch for symptoms or do you have to be tested in the two weeks?

Welp.... guess we’re all quarantined. My nephew is positive. N did not handle the news well and cried for about an hour. She’s scared and sad and I just feel so bad for her because she doesn’t understand. Oh no. What made them get him tested? Is he having any symptoms? Where do they think he got it from? Sorry for all the questions. I just keep hearing of more kids getting it. From what I have heard, their symptoms haven’t been bad and my coworker said his pedi wife has told him it’s usually passed down from a parent, but we have had two cases at work where kids test positive first so I’m just curious where the transmission is occurring. Need more data. ETA: Sorry N didn’t take the news well. I hope she wakes up feeling better about it and y’all remain symptom free. |

slenle does he have one of those small basketball nets you mount on a door and can shoot at from a couch? Hope he’s not too sick and everyone else stays healthy.

Oh no, @ slenle. Do you just watch for symptoms or do you have to be tested in the two weeks? I don’t think we have to be tested. He was at our house for about 40 minutes Sunday and in another room most of that time so our exposure was minimal. But we did hug hello and goodbye and he ate at the table with my kids. |

lahdeedah he had a headache Monday and a slight cough yesterday so they got him tested to be safe. My BIL is a dentist so can’t take any chances exposing patients. His test came back tonight and earlier today they found out a hockey teammate tested positive earlier this week and his last exposure to the teammate was last Tuesday which lines up with the “5 days after exposure” guideline. Overall he feels a little crumby, but not terrible.

slenle what about a dart board? Good idea. But they’ve got one in the basement.... along with about everything else It seems. Ha. Target has a Mn Vikings puzzle I might grab with some snacks and Gatorade since I’m sure he has plenty of video games and movies. |

tgrimes I didn’t check in since this morning so I totally missed your poofs. But I hope whatever happened is better now slenle I hope no one gets sick and your nephew gets better quickly. I was going to suggest more video games but it sounds like he’s got that covered.

Just catching up. I missed everything tgrimes but I will nut punch anyone that is a dick to you so know I am on your side:) Thank you for your service inthekitty. And all of the military families ( flamingo and vino) deserve a thank you as well. slenle are they having your quarantine for 14 days? I assume so but didn't know if it was somehow different where you are. I hope you all stay well. Stock up on wine and activities for yourself. 14 days is a long time for everyone to be at home! |

My house has been depressing me because it was so gross (I was working a ton extra over the past 3 weeks and MH is...not good at housekeeping 😒). I got everything done except for the vacuuming and it makes me so much happier. I couldn't even enjoy my time off looking around at how nasty it was. A vast improvement. Girl, you deserve a cleaning service. Treat yo self! |

wedding, yes, 14 days. But only 10 now since we haven’t seen him since Sunday. I’m having flashbacks to March when Dh worked from home and complained 837947 times a day. 🙄
