Thanks, I hope so too. There is a city council meeting, I think tonight, and they are voting on a mask mandate. I hope they get it together. The thing that people keep saying her is “you can’t enforce it” but clearly other states can, they just don’t want to. I'm not sure by what she means when she says 'you can't enforce it' because technically, it isn't against the law, so people can, and will, continue to not wear a mask for medical reasons or if they are assholes. Everywhere you go here, there are signs on doors that state as a State of KS mandate, masks must be worn to enter. But no one is going to kick you out of a store, or say anything, if you don't have one one. I avoid going anywhere near those types of people. A mandate is enforceable like a law. They said there would be a fine of $97.50 if you got a ticket for not wearing your mask, but you can also just get a warning. The mayor and some of the council members were worried that it would take up a lot of the police’s time going to calls from people not wearing masks. Either way the it didn’t pass and I am annoyed. |

I also saw a statistic that only 30-40 percent of people in my state are wearing mask. But 1 in 50ish people have covid. So clearly things are going well here 🙄

They still didn’t pass it. They must be on the herd immunity train. 🙄 |
