Morning. Dd is home from school, she’s going tomorrow (normally she’s off on Wednesday) so I figured I’d give her a little break today. I got rid of some laundry, made banana bread muffins, 5 batches of lasagne to put in the freezer and I’m carving pumpkins. I’m exhausted and it’s only two o’clock 😂.

My parents loved loved loved the gift we got them (husky tour), my mom cried during the video compilation & she loved the diner, so I think we won a lot of daughter brownie points yesterday .

nam2013, I'm ok. My dad is scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks followed by radiation and likely chemo.

My home life is a disaster, as you know. My in-laws and SIL are mad I won't just forgive MH and slide it all under the rug. They basically refuse to talk about my dad because I don't think they want to extend any sympathy my way. I know MIL told MH that if we divorce he can never tell anyone that he cheated with men, just that he cheated, and they'll find him a nice girl.

Whew, sorry for the ramble! My life is a mess lol

Hopefully your dad’s treatment will go well. Hugs lady, this a lot to deal with, especially all at once.

SIL told me it really doesn't matter if he cheated on me with a male or female...uh, yeah it does! Then at my nieces bday party on Sat SIL goes to her daughter, "Oh, you haven't seen Aunt Wine in so long, especially since she couldn't make it to your brothers birthday party cause she was....sick or something" in a snotty tone. His bday party was 3 days after I found out and she knows that.

We had to decide by yesterday if we wanted to keep C virtual or switch face to face. We kept him virtual but I'm sad because that was our last chance to switch for the rest of the school year. If we send him though he will have to go to a different class, possibly different school, and then likely will end up virtual again anyway...

Is supposed to be mid to high 70s hear through the next 7 days. So weird.

I saw earlier that the west half of the country is having record lows while the east half is having record highs. 2020 is really trolling us, huh? And why is there still tropical activity in the Gulf??

Got M to school and a workout in. I’m now on the couch with coffee. I need to make a list because I know I have a number of things I should do today and tomorrow while I’m off.

M keeps talking about his birthday. He says he wants a zoom party, so I will need to figure out the logistics of that. His best friend I was going to invite over for cake and a play date on his birthday is with his mom somewhere on military orders until December, so that won’t happen.

So for S birthday, we got a bunch of outdoor heaters, so we are going to have a few of his friends over. I am just debating if I just do his 3 BFFS (that we are all close families) or extend it to 2 or 3 other friends. The numbers are getting worse here so having more kids worries me, but we are always with those 3 so I want something that would be more special.

My mother spoke to him last night.  She said he was still waiting to be moved to a room.  It's hard to understand him because of the bells palsy on the right side of his face and the surgery yesterday on the left.  I'm going to try and call him in a couple hours.

I’m back to work today after several days off. I had to bring my moms car home because mine is still at the dealership getting worked on. I left my work vehicle keys in there along with the spares. I’m smart. Also left Sierra’s backpack in there. Whoops!

Morning. Working from home and hoping the work nurse calls me so I can get cleared to go back on Thursday.

In more crappy news my company is furloughing people again. I *should* find out this week if I’m safe or not.

Last night I spent 3 hours trying to get MS project for school. It’s not compatible with my chromebook. My work computer won’t let me download anything without IT. It wouldn’t install on C’s computer until I upgraded it to windows 10. Then when I finally did all that and started working on my assignment and hour in when I saved it, the work disappeared. I had to start the work over. Luckily the 2nd one was saved with no problems. I spent a total of 6 hours on it last night and I’m still not done. If I finish my work that needs to get done today early I might tinker with it again.

Sorry for the vent. Yesterday was just super crappy.
