Hi guys... I’m just staring to surface. This work week has kicked my ass (first week of open enrollment) and on top of it I was planning a small party for C’s bday on Friday and of course, like the rest of the country, I was watching election coverage. Can I say how glad I am that this is all over?!

We’re supposed to meet up w one of B’s friends friends from her old school, for an outdoor play date today.

I'm still riding on my high from yesterday. Just doing really boring admin stuff at work today. Last night we went out for a celebratory dinner. The girls were happy to dump Trump and to look forward to our first woman POC VEEP. I think doggo picked up on the energy because I took Lil for a bicycle run and she was going crazy and kept up that energy at home. It's really cool to see people celebrating around the world.

S and I are still in STL with my parents. My hand is getting a little better each day. Yesterday we celebrated my dad, my niece, and S’s birthday’s. Today we are headed to visit my grandparents at the assisted living facility/memory care. We can’t hug though and will have plexiglass between us. 😞. Tomorrow is Sierra’s follow up from her VNS surgery, then we will head back home. But my Jeep is in the dealer, getting the heater core replaced. So I will have to take my moms car home. Then we will swap next week when we come back for another appointment.

Picked Cadence up and she is wiped. Apparently she and M partied hard and didn't fall asleep until 11:30.
We're home now and she's just laying around.

Hanging out outside again, this weather has to be taken advantage of!! My SIL stopped by to take some outdoor pics for Christmas cards, hoping something came out well. Now DH and Colin are watching football while Chase is doing ninja warrior challenges for me.

We went to a nature based play ground my h had previously been too, it was not 9months pregnant proof, so I had to sit it out on a bench, but the kids had a blast!

E is napping, L is doing his Raz kids, and I’m doing homework. I have to do weeks 3 and 4 this week and next week work on 5 and 6 so I don’t have to worry about anything on our trip to my parents.

Not much going on here. I’ve been puttering around doing little by little all day. Last night about an hour after M2 went to bed he got sick. 😫 We got him cleaned up and the sheets in the wash. I went to bed and Mh slept on the couch with him on towels. He had another episode in the MOTN and was up at 430 hungry. He eventually kept something down and has been fine all day. Guessing it was just a little stomach bug. Hope that’s the end and none of us end up with it.

Afternoon all.

It’s the first Sunday since the renos started/ended, so it was cleaning and grocery shopping this morning.

It’s Julia’s birthday today and since MH will be away for 2 weeks he’ll miss B’s birthday, so we’ve decorated the house in random birthday stuff, got some fancy cupcakes and they’ll get their favourite meal today with my Mom here, should be a good day!

Gawd, I wish 😉 at this point. We’ve been snippy for a good week so I’m looking forward to some non husband time.
He’s only headed out to an ex for 2 weeks this time.

Haha vino. I like the short trips but hate the long ones. I’m happiest when he’s gone 2-3 times per month for 2-3 days each.

There’s a good chance MH might get some inauguration work which would be great financially, but last time it was a sold 2 months and that’s too long, esp since my parents and babysitters can’t help this time. He’s only done 2 long trips like that (all the others are 2 weeks or less), and both were super hard,

I slept through it but apparently there was an earthquake this morning. Dh said the house shook and it woke him up and he thought C had done something real bad downstairs.

We had our last flag football game. Playoffs are next week and all four of our teams play but I don’t know what it means. My dad and nephews biked in towards the end so after C and a couple friends played with them. Then I biked C over to a classmates house for a play date. It was a busy day but the weather was gorgeous and I’m filled with energy from yesterday. My Kamala shirt is on the way😊
