Considering the votes still to be counted in PA and the demographics of early/mail in voting, PA is very much still in the air. May or may not be necessary. We shall see.

Some news sources have AZ already won but others say it’s too early/too close to call since 86% of the votes are in.
I’m hopeful for NV and AZ. I would love if we could get one other to throw it in Trumps face. And if we have another his stupid recounts wouldn’t hold much weight.

In other news DH was in a head on collision on the highway on the way to work this morning. He is ok, just bruised up but if he didn’t swerve the little bit he was able to, he probably wouldn’t have lived. He will be very sore tomorrow. Long story short, a pickup truck jumped the median and was driving the wrong way and hit DH. The driver (about 21yrs old) was high on marijuana, had an expired license, no registration or insurance and apparently there was a warrant for his arrest on other charges. He tried to drive off from the scene but his truck was missing a tire so he just ran into the guardrails again. He was taken to the hospital and will be under arrest after that. Our car is a total loss so we have a rental (a stinky minivan) until the insurance adjuster declares and values the loss. Any recommendations on a hatchback or small SUV that has good gas mileage?  |

Holy shit wedding!! How terrifying. So glad he's going to be fine, even if a bit banged up. My SIL has a Forrester. Not sure if you remember but quite a few years back, they had a huge recall due to combustion risk. Hers actually DID blow up on the side of the road years before the defect was found. Once she was ready to drive again, she bought the same exact model. She loves it and Subarus tend to get better than advertised mileage. |

Holy shit wedding. So glad he's okay. I know this is his area, but remind him to be insightful of his own possibly PTS response and to be kind to himself and give it time if it happens. Also tgrimes might recommend an ice bath. Once again holy shit and I'm so glad he reacted quickly. I love my Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. Great gas mileage and handles awesome in snow/ice. Years ago MH had a Forrester and he loved it. |
