To follow up: She did indeed cry. Like the put your hand up to your mouth to try to stop it but the tears stream anyway kind of cries. So of course I started to cry. But she quickly agreed that a mommy/L girl's club sounded like a fun idea and she'd like that with a big smile. She's still going to be the best big sister. My daughter is 3yo and wants a girl too, we have a 1.5yo son too. I’m worried how she will react if it’s another boy. I’m hoping she is excited enough that there is another baby that she will be cool. I don’t find out for another two weeks.

After her initial heartbreak, she's been back to her excited self, ready to be my right-hand gal to help with baby brother when he arrives. Thank goodness!
