I have a cold but my company’s new sick policies will not allow me to go into work. So I called out, it’s the right thing to do. Hoping I rest enough today to go in tomorrow.

Super windy day here. Sent DH to work at the beach and trying again to potty train C. I can’t give up because my next chance will be Christmas week and I really don’t want to do this then. Two oldest kids have school projects to work on and I told T he has to learn to ride his bike this week.

Chilly and windy here, too—I get to break out some of my fall stuff from VA, ha!
The new front doors are going in as I type and they look so good. I’m sure these guys think I’m nuts bc I keep walking outside to admire them 😜

Morning. My mom came over to help clean, little by little we’re tackling the whole house. Today was window day  . Dd had a play date this afternoon and since this girl was really new at school, I invited the mom over too. We kept our distance and the mom was really nice, so it was nice for both the girls and us I think. I made French onion soup for tonight, looking forward to it  . |

Thanks ladies. I don’t feel bad but because I’m coughing bad I shouldn’t go in. I’m hoping to get better today so I can go into work tomorrow. I left my laptop at work so no work from home for me.

chrisy01 I hope you feel better quickly! I'm still exhausted from Halloween. So much fun. Evie took a 3 1/2 hour nap yesterday! I should have laid down with her, but we de-Halloweened outside then watched football.

Morning.
I got asked to work today, so I’m here. It’s not too bad of day. This weekend M came to me and asked if he could have a scooter for his birthday. I haven’t mentioned the electric scooter to him and he hasn’t mentioned wanting a regular one since this summer. So now I’m looking at ordering one. Prices are the same as back during prime days, so I’ll probably pull the trigger. He’ll be thrilled.

[mention]lahdeedah [/mention] I keep meaning to ask, how are things going on the job front for your h? It’s going. He fills out many applications each week, but so far no dice. He even knows people and reaches out to contacts, but no interviews yet for real contenders. If he goes college, more openings won’t happen until end of season. On military front, they are waiting on the contracts to go out. I’m trying my best to be patient and not be too worked up about any potentials he mentions. He started part time at the gym last week, but that’s just to fill in until something else comes along. Thanks for asking.  I’m still hopeful. |

Morning all.
Everything wrapped up on the house Sat afternoon, so MH and I were up past 1am cleaning and setting everything up Fri/Sat nights. Yesterday was grocery and essentials shopping, we each took a kid and hammered out the to do list. There are a few little things to do that we'll get done this week but overall we have our space back. I am exhausted, I've realized that I haven't really had a proper sleep in about a month, so it felt so nice to sleep well last night.
Other than that, SSDD over here, WFH and online learning.

Kids are so fun... As I was walking to the fridge to get fruit for the kids ds said ‘look at that pregnant orangutan go! Oh and btw Orangutan means ‘forrest human’ in Malaysian.’ Well gee thanks kid! 😂

After peeing in 8 pairs of underwear, C has gone on the potty 4 times! I promised Wendy’s if he went and even drove to Wendy’s with him in underwear! The 3 older ones have made no progress towards their goals.

I'm home all week because MIL has shingles.
Living on the edge today because I put A down for a nap in pants and a shirt. I typically change him into a sleeper that buttons on top because he tends to strip down if not and naptime also seems to be his poop time, so....

Cadence has her oral surgery this morning. 3 fillings, some sealant for her new molars, and a frenectomy. Got her home and she immediately threw up. It was expected, meds on an empty stomach. I set her up on the couch with Wreck it Ralph.
I went to pick up a grocery order, came home and she was feeling better and is basically back to her normal self already. Thank goodness.
She'll be spoiled on popsicles and jello today, then can go back to regular food tomorrow.
She doesn't have to do school today, I already messaged her teacher and let her know. Tomorrow the whole school has a holiday.
