So I'm a second pregnant, so it's time to start thinking names. We have 2 girls with classic names. We have a list of a gazillion names if we have another girl, but nada for a boy.
My favorites: William (DH HATES) Sebastian Christopher Christian Quinten (DH Laughed at me) Daniel Benjamin (Can't use) John (DH's favorite)
Honestly they are all blah. We aren't really outside the box people, but yet these boy names do nothing for me.

I think Sebastian is amazing, and I also love Christopher. Other names, all classic, some less common than others: Arthur Ambrose Alexander Bertrand Bartholomew Carlisle Edmund Edward Elliot Ezra Francis Graeme Gilbert Gabriel Harold Isaac Jonathan Lawrence Milo Mark Nicholas Peter Raphael Scott Seth Theodore Willem

William -- toss Sebastian -- keep Christopher -- keep Christian -- keep Quinten -- toss Daniel -- keep Benjamin -- toss John -- keep
I'd consider keeping John, but combining it with William as a double name, John William, but I love double names.
Other suggestions: Christoph Karl Merrick Geoffrey Timothy

Ideas:
Elijah Barrett Charles Oliver Lincoln Arthur Liam Eli Alexander Henry James Edward Frank Felix Grant Gus Levi Winston
I'm the same way... lots of girl names I love . Boy names are harder!

sweetc129 pick Sebastian. Then you and I can both have M18 Sebastians. 😀 I also have Alistair and Nicodemus on my list but mostly I'm more out of the box than you I think. DH likes Dietrich also. I think Daniel and Quinten would be my second faves from your list. But Sebastian is my favorite. 😊

ladynemesis, Carlisle and Nicholas are good ones. oliversbear, I like Timothy, that one is going on my list. @kelltothekell, I like Elijah a lot, but forgot to mention both my other LOs have names that start with a vowel and didn't want another to sound to matchy match. Grant is actually on DH's list. otters, Love Leo, but there is already a Leo in the family. I like Abram, but no vowel names. alwayscheese, Sebastian was always top of both of DH and my lists but not sure if I see us with a Sebastian. Would you call him Sebastian, Seb or Bastian? You have great names, but yes sounds like you are more outside the box than us.

Probably mostly call him Sebastian, but I like to have nn options, to me they're used as terms of endearment.] I've asked for nickname ideas here before, I'll see if I can find them; but we'll probably just wait and see what comes naturally. Bass Seb Sebby Sebas (pronounced like sea bass apparently) Bas/Baz SJ(potential middle name is Jonathan) Tian Ash Ian And no we don't know the sex yet, but DH's family is mostly boys so...

We are a family of all girls. My husband some how snuck in between 2 girls and he has all female cousins. I only have a sister and between us we only have girls. We like to play make believe though in reality we always said we'd have all girls.

We had an exchange student from Germany for a year, and he was Sebastian. Mostly Seb. I don't see Miles above, but I think it's a nice one. DS is Evan and I'm pretty happy with that one. Everyone can spell/pronounce it but it isn't overused.

Some of your names were on our list, so I'll give you our others (I haven't read other replies.) Nicholas Richard Alexander/Alec Luke Re Sebastian- a Sebastian I know goes by Basti.

My favorite boys names that feel classic but not blah and not so overused I'm tired of them are:
Wade Dean Simon Marcus Malcolm Albert Quinn Duncan Seamus Leonard Stanley Howard
We had a daughter than a son and had the same problem. I could have named fifty girls more easily than a boy.
