I have to start an hour later today so I’m just catching g up on personal emails. I have a vendor coming today to get a better understanding of what we do so the project can go smoother. Hopefully we get done on time.

Rain, gloom and cold here today. Headed to pt in a few. Cadence is being argumentative today. Yippee. I pulled a cute unicorn sweatshirt dress with leggings. She wore the dress for probably 30 minutes, but the leggings bothered the back of her knees? So she went to change her leggings and came back in a totally different dress. You know, something thin with short sleeves, perfect for the crappy weather. 🤦
Then she tossed her mermaid waffle in the trash. Apparently it wasn't toasted right....🙄
It's going to be that kind of day, I guess.

Morning.
It’s wet and rainy today. I dropped M off and was supposed to workout after, but I’m just not feeling it. I have an appointment for an annual physical in a bit, so I’m sipping my coffee until then. I may run to a store after for a fall candle and to find some crafts and such for Halloween evening. Not much else on the agenda today.

The weather must be throwing me because I got home from preschool drop off, threw a robe over my clothes, made a cup of coffee, and I’m now on the couch re-watching Schitts Creek.

Morning. Sitting in the drop off line for H. My sister will pick him up so I will have a couple hours of quiet this afternoon. L has his first haircut this morning... hopefully he’ll look a little less Roland Schitt, but I really don’t want to cut too much.
We were going to paint pumpkins tonight but Dh brought them inside (we got them a few weeks ago at the pumpkin patch) and they are completely soggy from being snowed on. So now i don’t know if I should try and find new ones for at least N and H to paint or just forget it.

The weather is similar here, too klong11. It was 47, windy and rainy when I had to get in my car. WTF. Luckily I'm able to start my car remotely now so it warms the are up to 76 and turned on my seat warmers. |

Wow, guess we are all getting the gloomy fall weather today! It’s not rainy here but is gray and cloudy. It is making me feel so lazy- I’m wrapped up in blankets on the couch w my laptop and have been doing my work calls this way.
I need to go to Petco after I pick up B from school. I have some rewards that are about to expire so want to use them.
In other news there was a COVID case at B’s school. The kid hasn’t been at school since Fri and all parents of the classmates have been contacted. I’m glad to see that the rest of the school can continue business and usual.

Morning. Nothing major here. Laundry which apparently never even ends... Ds’ old teacher promised him before summer break to set a mini date where they would read together from his favourite book & today was the day! She asked ds what kind of snacks he would like and texted me this morning that so was looking forward to it so much! She is the sweetest.
I just played games with the kids for almost an hour and instructed them to read for themselves for a bit.

Then Cadence started bitching that the spiderwebs we hung up are all mush on the ground now. That happens every year, you would think she would be used to it by now. October and November = random stints of rain and cold.

Man I got nothing accomplished today. Nothing. The weather really got me lazy and put a damper on my productive streak. Oh well. I need to muster up the energy to cook dinner.
M got three books at the book fair today and I’m not particularly thrilled about any of them, but I kept my comments to myself. #workinprogress

Hey! I’ve been relishing in the peace and quiet with MH out of town and my parents gone after a month of being here! I just started Schitts Creek after hearing so much good about it. I’m just on season 1 but enjoying it!
The heater in my Jeep decided to quit. The dealer can’t get it in till next week. Brrr!
Also next week I am finally having surgery for my trigger thumb. It’s been an issue for 6 months. And the 4 cortisone shots haven’t helped.
