Morning!
We are hanging here at the house b/c at long (long) last, our new front doors are being delivered this morning. DH is supposed to get with the contractor to set a date for installation, hopefully he can get to us soon.
Otherwise, not much going on. We may meet up with my parents and sister for a quick lunch.

Morning. Not much here today. I’ll be taking the boys to my parents this afternoon since Dh will be home so H isn’t constantly jumping on him and asking him to wrestle.
We’re supposed to get 3 more inches of snow today. Wtf October?!? This has been the earliest/most snowfall ever and I don’t think it’ll melt anytime soon. Not cool.

Morning. I'm at work. My dad's biopsy went well but we still don't know anything. Hoping piliminary report comes back today or tomorrow. He'll likely get to come home tomorrow and then we will wait until the final results come back to make a plan.
No snow here (thank goodness), but rainy week!

I’m at work. It was supposed to be a full day, but they don’t need me in the department, so I’m temp screening until 130, which I was scheduled to do before they told me needed me in the dept. yesterday, so I’m satisfied.
I have some errands to run this afternoon, so I’m able to do that when I get off. Nothing else going on.

I'm in line at the bank depositing my guys payroll. I'm baby sitting a half day today so I wanted to get this taken care of before they get dropped off. Also have another new driver coming to sign on. This will be number 7. Its taken a while but im finally back in the swing of working.
I also just switched to being paid monthly. A stresses himself out every single weekend when we go over the bills that need to be paid the next week. So I asked my dad if I could get paid monthly and now we pay all of our big bills from my pay the first week of the month. Then little automatic ones are spread through the month. Its like a night and day difference in A's mood and patience level with the kids.
I wish I had done this a year ago.

Good morning! It’s going to be mid 70’s and sunny here today. I am excited to be able to work outside again. It was super foggy when we biked in this morning so I’m going to grab some flashing lights for our bikes so cars can see us. Tonight we have a district wide school committee meeting on zoom to discuss how re-entry has gone in the schools. It’s a long one so I’ll probably dip out early. I have my fingers crossed for tonight’s debate. I was so angry at both parties last time so I want to feel good after this one. I remember Obama had a bad first debate his re-election year but killed it in the next ones. I am hopeful that will be the case tonight. Here’s a couple pics of our fog. It was kind of spooky.   |

I'm laying on the couch listening to Cadence's school lesson. My neck is killing me and it's causing me to get a headache.
Meanwhile my old man cat is in the hallway calling for someone. He's been doing it for a good 10 minutes nonstop. Maybe he's calling me....I'm not getting up. More likely he is calling the youngest who he has taken to laying on top of and neck biting. The kitten likes it, so I don't question their desires. LOL

I'm at the office. M's vice principal called me to say they were doing something different with the 1st graders that returned F2F. If I want, they'll issue her teacher an ipad that would stay in the classroom. That way M doesn't have to carry our surface pro to and from school. I've been really concerned about her dropping it or someone at aftercare stepping on her backpack or something.
I still think it's dumb she's learning through the computer like the virtual kids, but at least I don't have to worry about her breaking ours now!

Morning. Midwives appointment this morning, to discuss my birth plan. Aside from wanting a home birth, I’m very come what may, do I didn’t make one. She seemed to appreciate my attitude. Afterwards I got fresh scones and had a cup of coffee with my friend & a short video conference with ds’ teacher. DH’s handy uncle was around today to instal some heating in the kids rooms.
Not much else today.

Morning. It’s kind of been a rough one. The power went in and out 5 times between 7:50 and 8:30. Luckily it has been back since then and I was able to take S to school. The sky is a really weird orangish brown color and there’s freezing rain. Just a crappy weather day. I found out, via text from my coworker, that I have a work meeting tonight. I totally forgot all about it. MIL will come over at 5 to watch the girls till DH gets home. Speaking of cramping/lady problems yesterday, I have been having some cramping on the left side since late yesterday. My period hasn’t come back so I’m wondering if it’s a cyst or something. It’s not super painful so I’m just ignoring it for now.

It's taking all I have to restrain myself from going off on my boss. He's being a total dick and he tends to pull this crap a lot with me specifically despite the fact that I'm the most reliable member of our team with the highest productivity. I want to kick him repeatedly in the ball sack. He literally does almost nothing (he did very little when we were physically in the office full time, but now that we partially TW he has almost no duties) so he goes overboard with nitpicking the stupidest shit. He's too dumb to realize his job is secure even if he does nothing and is intimidated by some of my coworkers, so instead of focusing his a-holery on them, he goes to me.
