Morning ladies! Not much to report today. I played restaurant with dd this morning, made a menu, mini cupcakes, small fruit salads, babyccino’s (aka steamed milk) and a latte for me, it was cute and we had fun.
I picked up some croissants and apple cider so that ds could ‘order’ those when he got home from school.
I liked the thread we did a few weeks back about unimportant fact about ourselves, anybody ideas for another of those?

Morning!
Both kids are at school and I’m in line at DD for coffee and a pumpkin donut. It’s going to rain all day here so I’ll probably just hang out at the house and get some things done there.

Thanks for thinking about me, I'm hanging in there. I'm at work now. My dad's biopsy is at 4. I'm really hoping I can go and wait with my mom but so far we have been told only one person in the surgery waiting area. We found out the tumor wraps around his frontal lobe and goes deeper into his brain. It looks pretty big but some may still be swelling from the seizure. I guess the Dr. told my dad that he doesn't have a good feeling about it... so hopefully that dr is wrong!

I’m a mess today. Our governor’s message yesterday was very disappointing on my company reopening anytime soon. I’m frustrated because I just need us to open and give hope that things are getting better.

I hope the Dr is wrong too wineallthetime. How are you holding up? I’m sorry chrisy01. This is so difficult in so many ways that it is hard to comprehend. Try to keep that glimmer of hope going.

I heard about that chrisy01, sounds like your CEO is not going to take it lying down, though. Fingers crossed for y’all. It’s crazy to me bc as you know, the business has reopened here as well as globally with plenty of safeguards in place, and no outbreaks have been traced to any of the locations. I’d be ticked as the CEO too.

Hugs wineallthetime. That's frustrating chrisy01. It seems like there should be able to be a plan by now. Even if it were only allowing in local people.

Nothing exciting here. In person CPR training this morning and afterwards I'm not asking, but just going home and will finish the workday there.
Last night I was writhing in pain from my period. It seems to get worse as I get older. I wish my entire ute would just expel itself from my body and I could be done with it.

One month I get warning with spotting the next month there's no warning, just a deluge. Seems like when I'm knocking on 40's door and am a couple years past having kids if anything it should be more settled and routine by now. Nope.

I walked through 40's door 6 months ago and it doesn't get any better. Fitbit said mine was going to show up 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I feel like mine is all over the place and my gyn said, nope, sounds normal. ?huh? grrrr

PT rubbed me the wrong way. Literally. My neck and shoulder are so freaking sore.
I brought Cadence to work. She brought her sleeping bag and is chilling on the floor of my office. We'll see how it goes once I have to go up to the front desk and she stays in my office.

I'm hanging in there. Anxious to get results and have a plan. The not knowing is the worst. It's weird to look back on random things and realize the "warning signs". Like he has had the hardest time focusing on work the last month or two which isn't like him at all. He also was VERY blunt a couple times at my mom's party on Saturday. He's usually pretty blunt but like he made my sister cry because he told her she was making a horrible mistake on a decision her and her H are making. We all think it's a terrible mistake and kinda let her know that but a bit more subtly.... now I'm assuming all that was because of the tumor, especially being on the frontal lobe.

Last night I was writhing in pain from my period. It seems to get worse as I get older. I was thinking about this recently. Within the last 6 months or so, I've noticed much 'worse' PMS symptoms than I've had in YEARS. I've used an IUD since B was born and really don't even have much of a period, but the PMS lately is really annoying. Like, I literally rage-screamed (inside my car) at some people who drove too slowly thru a light the other day and made me miss the green. It's a bit...extreme. I have an appt for an annual next month so was going to inquire about it then just to be sure, but from checking with Dr Google it seems to be normal once you hit your mid-30s. Grrr.

Mother Nature sure did hand women a bad hand of cards when it comes to all this period stuff!!! I’m sorry for all the cramps ladies (while secretly hoping I’ll be spared for a few more years..).

For those of you dealing with PMS issues, I highly recommend taking a magnesium supplement. It’s said to help with symptoms and it’s also beneficial for a lot of other things. The recommended daily dosage is 310-320mg. I’ve been taking it for a while now and it helps with things, although no periods yet so I can’t report on that.

Isn't being a woman a joy? I never even had that bad of cramping when I was younger. Now for at least half a day of my period I can hardly move from the pain and it causes me to moan out loud. Rah rah yay for being a woman! It's like never-ending puberty.

wineallthetime I really hope the doctor is wrong. Praying for your dad and family that you get some good news. chrisy01 I'm so sorry about your company. I hope they get a plan in place for you soon. Add me to the list of 'being a woman sucks.' My period is awful, although timely usually. But other female issues, are about to drive me crazy.

Still digging myself out from tons of work. This is just my busy season from now until like the last couple weeks in Dec. I managed to sneak in a jog earlier this morning, so that helps me get my head clear and gives me a little break.
I like Wednesdays bc B doesn’t have any extra-curriculars. So I can just chill out after work. I do have a virtual parent-teacher conference at 430, that’s easy tho since I don’t have to go anywhere.
