M is almost 5 months. Not too many changes here since I last updated. Miles still takes short naps and is up once or twice a night. The other night was awful and he was up like every hour but I think the pjs he was in might have been bothering him so I retired those. Last night was much better. He acts like he’s ready to be crawling already. I mean he’s definitely a ways off from that but he’s constantly acting like he wants to be on the go, lol. He’s really into his toys and discovering new things to put in his mouth. We’re working on him sitting up on his own but not quite there. I can’t wait for that day 🙏 he’s still generally happy unless he’s tired or in the car. Here he is in his bear suit

Oh what a cutie wasabi! G slept really well last night, and then spent like half the day today napping. So I'm not really sure what's up with that. He's gotten really good at rolling and is getting stronger with sitting (assisted). I'm tempted to take out his exersaucer but I'm not sure if he's quite ready for it yet. I can't remember how old my other boys were when we started using it. He'll be 5 months old this week, which is insane.

danib N uses the exersaucer at daycare and is 4.5 months. I'd say get it out!

N has started rolling everywhere in the last week or so, so I've really had to up my vacuuming game. He's started laughing more and it's the most adorable thing. He loves to be outside and has to have someone paying attention to him at all times or he starts yelling. We're trying both arms out of the swaddle (still in the SNOO) tonight and I'm nervous. His naps suck and I don't want to mess with his night sleep, but it's time.

danib, Ben has been in the jumperoo for over a month now and loves it - take advantage of the limited useful window for it and get it out Ben is 5 months now and can roll across the room (not really, but feels like it)! He is also getting good at sitting - assisted. I’m trying to incorporate DH into Ben’s bedtime routine. Normally I would have been traveling for work now for a couple months, so baby would have had to get used to DH putting him to bed. But instead he’s gotten too used to me doing it, and starts screaming bloody murder when DH tries. I’m going away for two nights next week, so hopefully they survive. Also DS2 has gotten more challenging around bedtime, so it would be nice for us to be able to switch and have me handle the toddler. After my trip I plan to pick a weekend to switch him to the crib and sleep train if necessary. If will be nice to stop paying for the snoo rental, though I think it’s been worth every penny. My big kids are on fall break for two weeks, which means full day camp and no virtual school - woohoo! Here’s Ben trying on his Halloween costume

Thanks ladies! I'll take it out today. Not sure why I kept thinking he needed to be bigger for it. Maybe my brain is trying to keep him as a baby a bit longer since I know he's my last.

Damn I almost bought a jumperoo and talked myself out of it. I guess I’ll get one this week. I’m sure M would love it.

wasabi, I don’t know if you have a local ‘buy nothing’ group on Facebook - but I think people give them away on there a lot if you wanted to ask there before buying one!

Hey. V is 17 weeks, turning 4 months on Friday. She is still not sleeping through the night, which is v annoying. She is so happy and smiley when she’s awake though so I’ll take it. Her 4m appt isn’t till next Monday. I’m curious to see what she weighs. My other 2 were 16lbs at their 4m appt, my guess is she is like 13 or 14lbs. I got out the bumbo recently and she seems to like sitting in it. She puts anything and everything in her mouth. I’m going to have to start training the big kids to keep all the small stuff off the floor, they have so many tiny toys. As for me, I think the withdrawal symptoms from the Zoloft are almost done. For the most part I feel back to normal, except the static sound in my head most of the time. I’m tired from the baby waking up but also from staying up too late. I need to work on that. From the pumpkin patch this last weekend. It’s cold as balls here already, and it’s snowed twice which is super rude.

Thank you! It was quite the task getting everyone to look and smile at the same time.

The twins turned 6 months last Friday which is just crazy. It's fun seeing their different development milestones that they are hitting. H can roll over and push up and try to wiggle crawl really easily, but struggles more with the independent sitting up. G is sitting up pretty well now and will likely be sitting up completely unassisted in a matter of a week or so. Both are teething BAD, and are getting more fussy because of it. Woof. I forgot how much teething sucks.
H is progressing really well with his helmet, hopefully only a month or so left, we'll see.

C will be 5 months old tomorrow. We had a weight check this week and she finally weighs 12 lbs. She has been rolling from belly to back for a few weeks but just started back to belly this week. I guess it’s time to get rid of the swaddle but I’m really dreading it. We did an impromptu fall photo shoot this past weekend.
