Hi.
We had a slow morning and I’m trying to make my grocery list, but blanking on what to make this week. Other than a grocery run, not sure what else I have on deck. Probably just some cleaning and laundry. Hoping MH will take the boys to the park this afternoon.
The pumpkin patch was fun yesterday. The boys enjoyed the animals the most. M wants to carve his pumpkin, but it’s going to be warm this week, so we may wait until next weekend in hopes that it’s cooler temps the following week.

Yes, party was yesterday and this happened around 8 this morning. Sounds like they're pretty sure it was a seizure, but waiting for tests to confirm. My mom mentioned alcohol withdrawal as a possibility? Kind of strange to me though because my dad is a big drinker but he doesn't drink every day and he was drinking at the party but not heavily cause he was driving. |

I was able to get up and take a shower but by the end of it it was getting pretty painful so back to bed I went. DH has the kids out at a nature preserve so the house is nice and quiet. eta: did you decide what to do about the furniture? |

We had an extremely busy day yday. Both kids had soccer, then mh’s work had a small outdoor Oktoberfest event, then we met up w my family for my grandfather’s bday. So we just ran around like crazies.
Today is a lazy day, watching football while waiting for a buyer off FB marketplace to come get my old dining room table.

wineallthetime I’m so sorry. I hope you guys get some clear answers and that your dad is back to himself and doing better soon. Has he ever had a seizure before? My dad had a seizure on an operating table as he was about to have neck surgery 30 years ago. Then no issues for many years, until 15 years ago he had another. He was a pretty big drinker until then, but quit drinking because of the meds.

My parents have been here since Oct 1. I haven’t hardly had to cook dinner or do dishes the last few weeks! She’s also helped a ton with laundry! I’m going to miss it when they leave! 1 more week!
Sierra has had a rough couple of days. She’s had a long seizure yesterday and today, both requiring emergency medication. Followed by long naps.

I don’t know what I want and also don’t know what I should get since a move is in our future. I need to ask if they will just accept a return and look at another furniture store. My options are very limited here though. |

We don't think he had one before but last year my mom was out of town and my dad woke up on the ground all bloody. He got out of bed at some point and fell and was unconscious. He doesn't know for how long. His tounge was bitten up... So could possibly have been a seizure? He didn't call my mom or any of us and just went about day. He still has a big scar on his forehead from hitting his head. |

So I just tried mopping using the go clean tide/bleach and there is a film on my floors. I went to the IG to see if I did anything wrong and yep. It clearly says 1 teaspoon and I used a cup. 😂😂 #FAIL I just remembered her dumping a cup of that and a little bleach in everything. Clearly I need to consult the IG before trying anything else since I watched all the videos at once.
Guess I have to do it again with the oil soap to get the film off. 😩

I took a one minute break from watching DS’s game to put C in for a nap. Come back and T is telling someone is hurt. Of course the camera had moved so I couldn’t see who it was. It was DS. He got hit hard against the boards and had a hard time getting up. DH was in the parking lot of the rink and they let him in. They went to Urgent Care, he passed the concussion screening but has a headache so we have to watch him and call our ped tomorrow.
Also there is now a Covid case in DD and T’s school. So far not closing and they say people needing to quarantine have been contacted and we weren’t. It’s going to be a long year.

Late to check in but I'm hoping your dad is okay wineallthetime, i hate that no one can be with him. Keep us posted lahdeedah lol I'm chuckling about your tide...I just got a giant box of it, so pretty sure it will take forever to get through. I did get bar keepers friend for cheap at walmart and got some rust stains off some bathroom pipe covers. kim22 hope he's okay lfig the help sounds lovely, sorry that S has had a few rough days though. |

My dad is becoming more alert and told my mom that it definitely wasn't anything to be concerned about since the staff are all so calm. My mom was like, ummmmm it's their job to remain calm so you're calm!

We got booed yesterday, so today Cadence and I went out and got a few things so we could boo two if her friends. Really they were the only friends we knew the addresses for.
We also got our pumpkins. For her school's pumpkin contest this year she's doing The Rainbow Fish. We'll see how it turns out.

Hey. It’s been a lazy day at my house. I have felt off, no fever but it’s hard to explain. V has also had a bit of a rough day. She’s woken up screaming from all of her naps. Not sure what the problem is but if it continues tomorrow I guess I’ll message the doctor to see if she needs to be seen. Her 4 month check up is on the 26th so maybe they’d just have me move it up.
