I decided to run errands this morning instead of tomorrow and it was a much better plan because the farmers market had a new little treat that I picked up to bring home. Apple cider donuts filed with locally made ice cream. Mine were a mess by the time I got home but check out these babies:

We cleaned out my car this afternoon and the kids made some fall crafts.
I have ravioli and meatballs planned for dinner and I fell asleep too early last night to make it through the new episode of the GBBO so that’s on the docket.

Hey everybody.

I guess I’ll try to jump back in when i can, even though it feels totally weird because I’m not giving all the love and hair pats that you all deserve.

I’m taking grad classes to get another teaching certification so i had class today from 8:30-3:30. Not fun.

MH took the kids to the aquarium (it’s by appointment) and a local lake while i was doing my zoom class.

Tomorrow we will hopefully take the kids hiking about a half hour away where the foliage is peaking. The leaves are just starting to turn by us. But not before i drive to a local farm to get my fill of fresh apple cider donuts to pair with my morning coffee. I love fall!

An elementary school in my district is now closed also. I fear we will never go back.

My school filled a vacant vice principal job this week. My new boss is now a guy I used to babysit for (like he was the child, not I babysat his children). Now I’m officially old.

Nice day. Didn’t do a ton. We have football at 8:30 am tomorrow and it’s going to be in the thirties. I am not thrilled. C is playing his bffs team and apparently BFF is mad at C because he played with a girl bff likes at after care. I did not think jealousy like this would start so soon. Just stop it with the girls guys!

Hey, busy day here. This morning H had soccer, and she did a great job. After that we came home for lunch, and then headed straight to the pumpkin patch. In the time we were home the wind picked up and it was actually colder at the pp than it was at soccer. After picking out pumpkins V and I sat in the van while the other 3 went to the fun activities. Both girls rode on a barrel train and H got to ride a pony. There were also chickens and such to look at. When we got home I remade the bunk beds, cleaned up the bedroom, did some laundry and then made supper. I’m going to sleep shortly. I hope V isn’t up too much tonight, I need some good sleep.

kim22 that sucks that they had to close down the whole school for 2 cases. There have been a handful at H’s school and they quarantine the close contacts while the rest continue going to school.

Please send t&p to my dad. He was rushed to the hospital. My mom followed the ambulance to the hospital but haven't gotten an update yet. I guess he had blood coming out of his mouth and was incoherent.

Happy world okapi day! Just in case you were wondering what made today special 😜.

I had a little panic attack this morning about what we still have to do before baby gets here. So I sorted trough the kids old baby clothes, so much teeny tiny things... my mom offered to wash them all, I’m not saying no to that!

Next thing is framing some prints, my mom will hem curtains tomorrow. As soon as the laundry is done & my pyjamas arrive I can pak my hospital bag.

Good morning.

Our birthday celebration went well...weather was great, oysters and other food were a hit and the kids loved singing Happy Bday and eating cake with their nana Everyone was gone by 8 so I thought we would stay up and watch some more football but I was asleep by probably 9...#old.

This morning all seemed normal until about a half hour ago when I went to stand up and my back was like, "not happening." I am currently lying flat on B's bed since it was closest to where I was. I haven't really done any heavy lifting and was just sitting at the kitchen table normally this morning so IDK what's going on.

Thank you everyone! I'm with my mom at her house now. She can't be at the hospital until he's stable (they only live a mile away from the hospital). She said he did come to for a minute when EMS was here but couldn't answer any questions. EMS thought maybe a seizure but we haven't gotten any updates yet.

I know! My mom said when he woke up for a minute he looked terrified. We have no clue if he's even awake or anything at the hospital.

I have thought about my school closing and I think the issue is we don’t have enough subs. The kids stay in one room of 7-12 kids but 4 teachers move through so 1 case would quarantine only a few kids but 4 staff. 2 cases puts 8 teachers out but not all the students of those 8 teachers.

I’m watching a live stream of DS’s game. I didn’t realize it would have no sound so it’s strange.

Unfortunately, no. My parents live about 1.5hrs from my work. I wish he was though because the little hospital he's at isn't great. Waiting on CT scan and blood work.
