They're migrating our servers over so we will be on our corporate office servers this weekend. Which means I will get kicked off early today, darn.
I have a feeling that also means Monday morning will be a shit show, so I should probably be prepared to go in early, if I need to.
What are everyone's plans this weekend? We have nothing!

Home from vacation. We took a last walk in the woods this morning (like 1.5 miles, that about as far as I can get 😂) and saw some deer.
Laundry is spinning, most of the clutter is put away, now we need to decide what to do for dinner tonight...

Morning!
We made an emergency Target run before preschool bc today was ‘wear black/orange’ day, which had completely slipped my mind. C is now properly outfitted.
Today I’m going to get a manicure and maybe do a little shopping. I bought some new swimsuits this summer but haven’t bought much in the way of new clothes, and I am tired of everything in my closet 😂 We are going out to dinner for my mom’s birthday and a sitter is coming for the kiddos. Then tmrw my parents, sister/BIL/nephew are coming over to watch football, eat and do cake and presents for my mom.

I have a hair appointment this afternoon. I don’t really want to go but am forcing myself because our numbers are rising and there is a chance we could get stay at home orders again. Apparently the positives are coming from small social gatherings between family and friends and then spreading from there. We have been told to wear our masks whenever we are around people that don’t live with us and if we are out to eat only take it off when actively eating. I don’t have a ton of faith that those things will happen and I’m sure there will be Halloween parties so I expect a spike a couple of weeks after.
Aside from my hair I have to pick up Cs football jersey. They had a fundraiser where we could donate and get the players name on the back of the jersey. I’m not a sentimental person and don’t often keep things but I have been keeping his sports uniform shirts. I think he will like them when he’s an adult.

Morning! We are sending the kids back to school next week (Charlie on Monday and Josie on Friday. This week has made me feel like my head is a speeding train).
The goal is just to take it as easy as possible this weekend.

I refuse to like that trtlcrzy! I dropped E at my moms. She asked me if we wanted to come over for dinner Sunday. We have dinner plans Saturday night and Sunday lunch, so I told her now and she looked like I was making it up. But I just want to stay home that evening. She asked if I wanted to join her and E for lunch today, so I need to get my walk in so I can get showered in time. |

Family pics tomorrow... what do we think? My dress is a very dark navy, as are dds stockings and ds’ trouwers.   ETA I’ll be wearing cowboy boots, Dd will wear her deer boots, ds wil wear leather brown sneakers and Dh will wear boots... I could throw on a white and blue flanel on Dh or have him match ds with a Breton stripe... ETA 2 DD’s shoes are not made of deer, they have a deer ‘look’. |

My mom called me last night, which never happens. My dad had some more skin cancer removed on his face yesterday and they did the mohs procedure. They had to go back in 3 times and basically took all the skin from behind his ear all the way down to the side of his neck. It's like the size of a burger. She sent me a pic and it was nasty.
Anyway, they found a tumor in his salivary gland and more cancer inside that they can't get right now. They're referring him to an ENT and are trying to get the insurance rushed through for approval. The doctor doesn't want him waiting to see someone. He'd like for surgery to be next week.
Everyone keep their fingers crossed that they can get it approved quickly.
