I read this earlier this morning and am just absolutely horrified. It is fucking awful. And actually the judge's sentence isn't even as harsh as he thinks it is, because nobody is going to publish this guys name because his victim was his underage sister. So nobody will know exactly who this shitbird is if he ups and moves to a new town. Yeah he will have to register as a sex offender, but people won't know he drugged and raped his sister. They will just get that very vague "convicted of aggravated sexual assault" or whichever plea he copped to.

"However, Judge William H. Follett said that the "stigma" of the conviction and sex offender registration were enough to deter him and others in the community, District Attorney Dale P. Trigg said."
WHAAAAAT?! The stigma?! So he doesn't have to go to jail for something horrible that he admitted to doing, because he might have a stigma attached to him? No. Just no. This is absolutely horrifying.

That is sickening. There are people that will serve longer sentences for minor drug offenses. Unbelievable.

Nope. Fuck stigma. I don't give a fuck if he's shunned for the rest of his life. If he's free to live his life in solitude in the comforts of his home, THAT'S WRONG.

This person is a psychopath. Evil. Is he living in the house with his sister?
And Wtf to saying "she took off her clothes!" The judge's sentence is shameful in it's leniency.

Someone who does that to a sibling absolutely should be marked with the stigma. I want to punch that judge.
My thoughts are still mostly incoherrent rantings, so I may be back to yell some more in a bit.

Wtf? How is this even a punishment? Who cares about the stigma? How about the victim and what the victim will now be dealing with for the rest of her life. She can't ever get away from her attacker since he's family.

I...have no words. WTAF. The poor woman, omg. I cannot even imagine. Her brother rapes her and she has to live with that forever. He just has some "stigma" because he has to register as a sex offender. That judge needs to be removed.
