Morning all. The pathology is strong at work today. So far about 450 dumbasses keep "reply all" to emails that go out to the entire Army health command...so thousands of people. So many Karens.
I'm struggling to focus today because I have a report I really don't want to work on.
That's about it here. I think tonight our crew will return to TKD. Interested to see if Mean Mom is there. I give Rex about a year at this other place he's going to before he gets involved in a new scandal and fired. I bet anything that's his pattern.

Happy hump day! I ran all morning and am just sitting for the first time. N had a two hour late start today so I took the kids to target before school to pick out a present for L. Dropped h off at preschool at 9, came home and put L down for a nap and got a workout in. Then woke him up and took N to school at 10:30, home for a half hour then picked H up at 11:20.
Tonight n has volleyball until 6:30 and Dh and I have separate meetings that both start at 6:30. So I have a sitter meeting us at vball and taking the kids home to feed them dinner. Hoping I make it home before Ls bedtime because it’s my thing to put them to bed the night before their birthday (and have a good cry 😭)
Ls starting to take a few steps and it’s the cutest thing ever! He’s so determined but will only walk to me, so he gets to me, shrieks, and grabs my hands and walks backward to Dh so he can start again.

Wow, I had no idea it varied so much! We got the $5 vouchers at CVS! You have to spend $20 for each $5 though. The kids each picked out a treat and then I, of course, picked up some wine as well so we could get an additional $5 off. Wine? At CVS? That's a thing? We can not get alcohol at CVS Really? Yes, here you can get wine and beer at all CVS (I think) and liquor also at some! |

That happened at work back in Feb. went out to the ENTIRE NPS, it took a week to die down. And then you had your people replying all to tell everyone to quit replying all. And then a few people in the mix that were trying to be funny and did it on purpose. It was a shit show. But because I’m ocd, I read them all. Lol. |

About 60% "please remove me from the list," 35% "stop replying all!", and the remainder either tips for how to ignore emails or "witty" (they think so, but not really) quips. Some threats about EO and IG complaints. I've read a chunk of them too, at least the ones that seem to include something other than remove-from-the-list remarks. It's...something. |

Last night I played Roblox with the girls because they were begging me. They were playing this horse game in which you can either be a horse or a human. You have an avatar and go into the little world and interact with other avatars playing live. So my kids rope me into being a human and they were my horses. Meanwhile this other kid playing a horse named Heart kept coming over by us. The whole time we were in the game Heart was right there getting in my face and wanting attention. Coming into "our" house and the girls' stable (yes I know how crazy that sounds). Basically I felt like it was a playdate with someone else's kid and I was just "ugh."
<---- Usually doesn't really like interacting with other people's kids unless I know them well
ETA: More specifically, needy kids.

Cadence has to get her flu shot at the pedi every year due to her egg allergy. I just have her get it during her annual checkup. PSA: time to schedule your child's 7 year well check! I always schedule well checks before I leave the appt. I think it’s scheduled for 11/18, but I’d have to actually look to be sure. Makes one less thing for me to worry about remembering to do. |

It is a long way out, but I like to at least have it on the calendar. If I need to change it when it gets closer then I can always do that. |

We don’t have well checks yearly after 3y9mo old, I wish we had. You have one around 5.5yo and then one around 9yo and then 14...
