peachesncream I do like the fill a bag idea, but maybe you supply the bags so people aren't ridiculous about it? Or maybe just say any five items for $10? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I like this idea too! I have plenty of bags so I was thinking $10 for a bag of clothes/toys on Thursday (our grocery store bags are about twice the size of a Target bag) and $5 for a bag on Friday. Makes things easy! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk That sounds perfect! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Had my appt today...there might be some abnormalities from what we saw in the ultrasound. The doc said there is a herniated abdominal wall and a cystic hygroma. I'm trying to stay away from the Google rabbit hole. My office called MFM and they are going to take a look at the ultrasound and get back to us but I'm getting impatient. I'm trying not to freak out but I'm nervous and anxious. ETA: I'm going to try to get to MFM tomorrow or Friday if they agree the ultrasound looks abnormal. We go away to the beach next week. I could leave the beach to go up there to the MFM but it would be about 2 1/2 hours drive one way vs. only about 1 hour each way from our house. First off, I'm sorry for unexpected news. Even if this ends up being nothing, it's never easy to have something to consider. How far along are you? I'm not expert but I've never heard of anything remarked upon like this earlier in a pregnancy. Did your OB or MW comment on this for you? 10 weeks today. I do know from friends that our local OB office is not great at reading ultrasounds, so hoping the MFM assessment of it is more in our favor. The OB talked with me about some of the risks but didn't discuss the timing of where I am in the pregnancy. I did have a friend with baby that had an abdominal wall abnormality that developed into an omphalocele (sp?) and she just delivered a healthy little girl. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the doc office. I will call them later this afternoon if I don't hear back.

Oh, aprilz81, so sorry about your rough times. I don't know what it is like to lose a baby at that point but I'm sure it is heart breaking. Lots of hugs. Do you and your husband talk about Ava much?

I completed the 24hr urine test this morning so I'm hoping everything comes back normal. Also, I took the 1hr glucose test this morning.

Second, I though items like this couldn't be picked up until closer to 18-20 weeks during the anatomy scan? I hope this turns out to be a non-issue for you.

Oh, aprilz81 , so sorry about your rough times. I don't know what it is like to lose a baby at that point but I'm sure it is heart breaking. Lots of hugs. Do you and your husband talk about Ava much? We mention her in passing sometimes... We don't avoid talking about her but since the pregnancy is all we have of her it doesn't come up much. The first few weeks of this pregnancy were terrifying, just waiting for the shoe to drop. The last few weeks were more on the excited end of the spectrum, but as my NT scan is getting closer I'm getting nervous. There was no known genetic link for what Ava had (and we don't even have a name for the syndrome she probably had) so the odds are miniscule that it would happen again, but then I start worrying about all the other things that could go wrong. We have a shadow box with her hat and booties in it with her birth stats in the living room. I made it with my Cricut and it is beautiful if I do say so myself. Most of her things are in the nursery for now. Our friend is building us a hope chest (it is almost finished) where we will be able to store some of her things (the blanket I made her, hospital things, ultrasound pictures, etc.) when we start updating the nursery for the new baby. We had 14 weeks to grieve Ava between her diagnosis and her birth so that helped us prepare as much as you can for a life changing event like that. I don't know how someone would cope with an unexpected still birth/late term loss.

Look at you sarahh ! You're pregnant!! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk I also just ate Moes so you need to take that into account. I feel like some times during the day I don't look pregnant at all and then other times I look way further along than I am.

DS woke up at 4:30 requesting "Mickey Racer". I'm so tired. Doc called with initial blood work and everything is normal. I can't wait for the results of the genetic testing and to know the sex!

So much good news on the board yesterday! I got my bloodwork results back and they were negative for all the chromosomal issues they check for. HUGE relief. We also got the sex results! The way the Counsyl results post is if you want to see your full report there is no way to not see the sex results. We have been team green in the past but I was already planning to find out this time but even if I wasn't, how was I not going to click on my full report! Who wouldn't want to see all the details?!?! Confession - my H and I know now but no one is going to know that we know. I've always thought the Team Sneaky thing was not my style but here I am doing it! Since no ones knows we know I hope it's not as precious. I want to post the results on this board and my O17 board but I have paranoia someone know who I am IRL which is ridiculous. I have kind of thought about being Team Sneaky this time around.
But you can't tell us that you have the results and then not tell us the results!!!

aprilz81, sending big hugs to you. Your daughter is absolutely beautiful; thank you for sharing the photos with us. easternshoregirl, I hope that your OB is wrong with the abnormalities and that the MFM disagrees. Like someone else mentioned, I feel like a 10 week ultrasound is still so early for something like that to be detected and they'd wait until 18-20 weeks when baby is more developed. Try to stay away from Dr. Google! Nothing good comes from that. Hugs! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

aprilz81 So many hugs to you. A rainbow pregnancy after such a traumatic past pregnancy is incredibly difficult. I can't tell you how many tears I cried over my son when pregnant with my daughter. If you ever want to talk, feel free to PM me.

Just waitin at my doctor's for my appointment that was 10 minutes ago. Definitely should have called to see if they were running behind because there are 3 people ahead of me in the waiting room. I have so much work to do so this is not ideal.
But at least I now have time to internet!

I know it is normal given what we went through and I'm sure I'll have other bad days/moments all the way through.

Thanks guys! The MFM is getting me in for an appt on Friday at 8am, so that makes me feel better. Only have to get through 2 nights before we get more info, maybe.
DS is on nap strike this week, of course. I'm mandating 2 hours of "rest" time in the afternoon, closing the blinds, just putting on videos. He climbs out of his crib so I can't just leave him in there either.

aprilz81 it must be an emotional roller coaster to go through pregnancy again, I'm so sorry. I hope everything goes smoothly for you so you have as little to worry about as possible. easternshoregirl I'm so sorry for the stressful news. My last BMB had a lot of members with small, worrying abnormalities early on that all either turned out to be nothing or resolved themselves before the babies were born. I hope your appointment on Friday is reassuring.

DS accidentally jumped on my lower abdomen pretty hard last night. It definitely hurt but I have a lot of extra fluff so I wasn't too concerned. I decided to get out my doppler this morning and while I could hear a faint heartbeat I heard A LOT of movement and I think it kicked at the monitor a could times. I laughed so hard.
I've felt a few flutters lately. It's making it more realistic. ♡

We have been working on potty training, this is day 3 and it's going SOOOOO much better!
She is still taking a long long time to release the pee but I started showing her videos of rushing streams on YouTube and it's really helping!! Tomorrow we have an outing in the morning so I'm nervous but feeling optimistic.
