I decided to be crazy and have a garage sale this week. I don't really go to garage sales (that sounded prissy - I am a consignment store girl through and through) so I have no idea how to price things. I live in a low COL area and have mostly clothes and toys to sell. Any suggestions?

peachesncream people are cheapos at garage sales, I would try to stick with everything under $5 if you really want to sell stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi ladies! I am sitting on the couch watching G interact with her ABA teacher. They are having a fun time. I need sleep so badly. I only slept 4 hours. Thankfully I can nap when G naps.

So much good news on the board yesterday!
I got my bloodwork results back and they were negative for all the chromosomal issues they check for. HUGE relief.
We also got the sex results! The way the Counsyl results post is if you want to see your full report there is no way to not see the sex results. We have been team green in the past but I was already planning to find out this time but even if I wasn't, how was I not going to click on my full report! Who wouldn't want to see all the details?!?!
Confession - my H and I know now but no one is going to know that we know. I've always thought the Team Sneaky thing was not my style but here I am doing it! Since no ones knows we know I hope it's not as precious.
I want to post the results on this board and my O17 board but I have paranoia someone know who I am IRL which is ridiculous.

I am not trying to make a ton of money, I just want it out of my house. I was thinking $1 for onesies, $2 or 3 for kids dresses, and maybe up to $5 for some nice dresses of mine. I will try to keep toys under $5 too. Thank you!! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

@peachesandcream I would do a fill a bag strategy if they are not designer clothes. Fill a grocery bag for $4 or $5. Then it will go for sure. I would not pay $1 for a previously worn onesie. I expect to pay a lot less at a yard sale then on a FB group or at a consignment sale.

I've been up since 3 am because my ear hurts so bad. I've got an appointment in about 45 mins. From what I've read whatever they give me probably won't help for a couple days. I feel like a baby but I can't take this pain for another couple days. 😣

So I have a huge decision to make today - what should I have for lunch? I kind of want a salad but I don't know from where. I am so indecisive.

Aren't they usually $7-10 new (obviously depending on brand and package pricing)?

Today is the first day I actually feel human! No nausea and I'm getting some energy back. I'll take it!
DD fell asleep on our way home yesterday and she continued to sleep until 9:30 just as I was crawling into bed. Luckily, she was still tired and it was somewhat dark out so she went back to sleep almost immediately. It was nice to get some packing done and relax without having a toddler climbing all over me.

peachesncream, I think it depends on brand. Carters stuff you will get between $0.25/$0.50 (onesies) and $2/3 outfits/dresses. Gap you will get more. Maybe $0.75 onesies and $3-5 pants/sweaters/dresses. And then boutique will be higher but you probably wouldn't want to sell that stuff at a garage sale. Used shoes I would say $3 (more if higher end).

**tw for previous losses** I didn't sleep well last night and it started with taking a nap at 5:00 so I didn't want to go to sleep when I needed to. Then as I laid there trying to get to sleep all I could think about was Ava. I miss her. As I mentally prepare myself to go back to my OB and back to MFM next week I'm sure I'm going to have a wave of memories. The OB office is across the street from the hospital where we delivered so I can't help but think about her more often when we are in that area of town. Last night I had this crystal clear memory of my last growth scan where we found out she was in heart failure. My Mom was with me and we asked the tech if she could show us a 3D scan and she took sympathy on us and did it. As soon as the image came up on the screen my mom said "Oh, April, she is beautiful. She looks like a little doll." I remember my Mom's tone of voice and inflection not just the words... Here is that 3D picture compared to a picture of me at about 3 months. She would have looked just like me. (sorry for the huge image, I don't know how to make it smaller!!!!)

aprilz81, she is beautiful and looks just like you. I can't imagine the additional emotions that you are going through on top of normal pregnancy hormones.

peachesncream I do like the fill a bag idea, but maybe you supply the bags so people aren't ridiculous about it? Or maybe just say any five items for $10? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I like this idea too! I have plenty of bags so I was thinking $10 for a bag of clothes/toys on Thursday (our grocery store bags are about twice the size of a Target bag) and $5 for a bag on Friday. Makes things easy! Morning ladies!
Anyone ever felt the urge to nest this early on? I never had it with DS but lately I am on a home update rampage. Every single room must be changed or completed asap lol
It's driving MH insane as he is not the handy type and just wants to kinda chill after getting home from work. Which I do understand..... but NOPE, there is tons of stuff to be done

Had my appt today...there might be some abnormalities from what we saw in the ultrasound. The doc said there is a herniated abdominal wall and a cystic hygroma. I'm trying to stay away from the Google rabbit hole. My office called MFM and they are going to take a look at the ultrasound and get back to us but I'm getting impatient. I'm trying not to freak out but I'm nervous and anxious. ETA: I'm going to try to get to MFM tomorrow or Friday if they agree the ultrasound looks abnormal. We go away to the beach next week. I could leave the beach to go up there to the MFM but it would be about 2 1/2 hours drive one way vs. only about 1 hour each way from our house.

Even if this ends up being nothing, it's never easy to have something to consider. How far along are you? I'm not expert but I've never heard of anything remarked upon like this earlier in a pregnancy. Did your OB or MW comment on this for you?
