Last night there was news of a Trump tweet that said he and melania were still awaiting results. 🤔 I told Mh that means they have COVID. They have a rapid test so that just means the rapid test was positive and they are waiting on the other test to see if the rapid one is accurate.
When I woke up this morning to the news they are both positive I said... “well happy birthday to me.” Lol.
I don’t wish any harm to them, but it’s damn priceless that the leader of “hoax, hydrocychloroquine, and drinking bleach” now has the virus. The most protected person in this country couldn’t even be protected from this because he didn’t require masks. Also priceless because it’s 1 month from the election and he has to cancel his campaign events for 14 days. We are laughing.
And yet I want to cry because none of this is actually funny. We need to do better as a country.

We're going to Mexico for our 10 year next year. You guys should come lol. That would be fun. I really want to go to Hawaii though. Not sure if that’s in the cards for next year. That would be a great 10yr trip! We are hoping to go for spring break next year. 🌴 |

wineallthetime have you told him your decision or are you still not 100% sure? I haven't which I know sounds silly. I'm trying to get some of my shit and plans together. I did tell him I do not see it working out and I see him as a roommate and I don't see that changing. That just made him step up his cheesy moves. |

I've been wanting to go for years. It's not as bad from here because you can get decent deals on flights (I can usually fly to HI faster and cheaper than I can the East Coast). We finally booked a trip for early next year and then COVID struck. So that will likely be cancelled. At this point if I can just go to Disneyland next spring I'll be happy and maybe HI in 2022. |

Cadence's teacher goes back to in person next week. She will be teaching her 15 remote learners, 4 in-person learners, as well as a handful of kids whose teachers are remaining remote. Here's the kicker. ALL of the kids will still be learning via their ipads and zoom. So her 4 face to face kids who are actually from our class, will be zooming with her in the same room as her. The handful of not her class students will be on zoom with THEIR actual teachers. She told me it would be "an adventure"...that's teacher talk for "complete shit-show". Cadence will remain at home at least until January when mh is supposedly scheduled to return to the office. That's what our school is doing as well. 7 in our class chose f2f and the other 14 chose virtual. 1 kid is switching to a private school. This is ridiculous. Then we got an email today saying they won't be offering after care, like they said they would. I have a call into my boss so we'll see what he says about me having to leave early when school starts back in 2 weeks. |

Too much work for a Friday. I did good though and had a really productive conversation about salaries with the court and got lots of praise for coming to a great solution. I wanted to drop the mic and peace out after that but I couldn’t 😞. I’m signing off soon though.
I’m going to dinner with my work besties tonight. I can’t wait. I may get a lobster since I haven’t had one this year or I may get a steak.
Today is picture day and C insisted on wearing only black and white Nike and Adidas gear. He also spent a lot of time on his hair and packed a comb for touch ups. He’s too much! But it got him moving this morning.
The Trump news made my day!

wedding and nam2013 we are hoping for a 2022 trip to Europe but I only have done Disney, the Jersey Shore, and a few places in the Caribbean. We have friends in Sweden but I’m not sure that would work with the rest of our plans. Looking at France, Germany, Spain but I really don’t know much about travel, probably have about 2 weeks.

Yeah I think he has it but definitely not trusting what they report about it. I don't think they move someone to Walter Reed just for the fun of it.. I had a moment of glee but then realized he potentially exposed biden during the debate and all the other implications.. what a freaking mess. It's almost like we knew this could happen.

So much for a chill night. MH made reservations at a restaurant for us and the babysitter came. I’ll take it. As much as I complain about needing space from MH, he always does good on special occasions.
I’ve had a deep mustard Chanel bag for over a year now and never wore it out. It’s very fall -ish and never went anywhere worth the wear last year. Well I decided to break her out today for my birthday dinner. I feel fancy. 😆

kim22 I love Sweden, it is so tranquil. We had planned to go last summer, but off course that didn’t happen. Even tough our country is bordering Germany outside Berlin, I’ve never really been there, it just doesn’t pull me in. If you’re doing Spain and France and want to add another country I think I’d add Italy, or make a pit stop in London.
