It’s rainy and gross here. Hoping it clears up so we can get outside.

Morning! The yard men/contractors are gone 🥳🥳🥳. It does not look impressive at the moment, but I’m hoping we kan do some little things once we can walk on the grass.

I had a little meltdown last night, which lead to Dh calling his boss if someone else could sit in to watch students take an exam because ‘his pregnant wife has to work & is very overwhelmed, we have two kids at home because sniffles and yard men/contracters’. Her respons? ‘I’ve heard enough, I’ll find someone to cover for you’. Gotta love her. my h is currently cleaning the downstairs while I’m working. My parents took the kids for the afternoon.

Birthday party tomorrow morning and after that I’m crashing down hard 😂.

I'm so overwhelmed and stressed about work. I've talked to all 3 people who were let go this week and I'm very worried about my position. Not that any of them have said anything specifically, but just the vibe I get. Plus the workload currently and knowing what some of the stupid expectations are of me, without knowing our products or my suppliers, I'm just in an impossible position and know I'm going to fail to meet them.

I'm hoping to get a lot done today to put me in a better place so I don't stress all weekend.

Happy Friday! I'm off and C has no school, woohoo! I had planned to take them apple picking but may do the park with my sister and family instead.

It's been the best fall weather so I'm making my favorite chili today.

Also, MH keeps calling me "Sunshine" and it's driving me insane. He also keeps trying to climb in bed and snuggle or hold my hand while I'm sleeping. No thanks to that, go back to the couch.

I’m sorry you’re having a tough time mwhip. I felt very similar when the SAH orders first started and was so busy w work but disconnected from my boss. I hope things look up for you.

Today is hair day! Yay! I’m getting a teeny trim - I really enjoyed the Rapunzel-esque lengths I achieved during quarantine so I’ve been going w length all summer and now into fall. And of course some color to cover these grays!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately I have nothing fun planned. Since we went out with the neighbors last weekend, I treated that as my night out. It’s also my weekend to work. Boo.

Maybe I can get takeout tonight and just chill out. M put my birthday poster he decorated by my bed so I could see it when I woke up. MH says he still isn’t finished, so we will see what else he adds to it.

I’m totally shocked, the school announcement yesterday is that we will be opening on the 12th! I have 2 classes that will staying remote and 2 that will come back in person. I can’t wait. T and DD will go 4 half days, DS1 only goes 2 half days but it’s something.

DD and T’s teachers have to teach some remote and some in person at the same time. A parent asked how that will work. A board member said that it’s fine because it’s exactly like the meeting last night where some people were in person and some were watching virtually. I will not be voting for that guy next time....

Good morning. Today is my 10 year anniversary. Due to having a newborn and covid there is no fun trip like I had always planned so that will probably happen next year. Tonight DH and I are going out to eat while my dad and step mom watch the girls. I’m trying to decide where to go because I’d prefer to dine outside, even though the high today is 59 and it’ll be chilly.

kim22 that has always been the plan here and I just don't get it - when we go back to school, the teacher will have to teach to the kids in person at the same time as the remote kids. It sounds awful.
