I ordered the kids Halloween costumes this morning. Charlie wanted to be an astronaut but he wants the orange jumpsuit with the NASA hat instead of a helmet and Josie asked to be Amelia Earhart so I ordered her a costume plus a pair of goggles. It’s super cute.
We ran out to two different orchards and got some apples, ordered an Insta cart order and I put together a cabinet that will go into the basement. We’re having a little cocktail party here tonight with lots of cheese and bread and the apples. I’m excited!!

Very grey day here. Mh slept in and didn't really get much of anything done, but I was fairly productive. Thankfully we had rain all last night bc mh really sucks at watering the plants and I'm nervous a few bushes will die...so I am taking over again. I got some work done which felt good and I think I've finally figure out a plan to get a baby gate installed, so hoping to get that done tonight.

We have a very wiggly front tooth for j, it needs to come out but he's not aggressive enough, hoping tomorrow is the day.

Has anyone read “I’m thinking of ending things”. I love when books are turned into movies but want to read it first. It’s taken over my life this week. Very good but a mind fuck for sure. I read it twice and still have a lot of questions. We are watching the movie tonight but reviews say it’s very different fro the book so we will see.

I got my car detailed today and C and I got the Halloween decorations up. We also went to the store to get more. Who knows what Halloween will be like but everyone enjoys a good scary house so we are doing it up. I still need some more stuff though.

Tie a piece of floss on it and gave her yank. Thats how M gets his out. He doesn't even feel it.

Hey. I worked today and it was actually pretty busy. I came home and promptly took a nap. I’m still tired so I should be able to fall asleep in an hour no problem. DH took all 3 girls to H’s soccer game and he said it all went pretty well.

Morning. It was a little chilly this morning coming in to work. I slept like crap last night so probs a long nap after I get home. I am working an extra hour because my coworker called out, but that’s fine. Then this evening a friend asked me if I could take her family’s pic so I will be doing that.

Morning. Our yard is empty and ready for the workmen that are coming Wednesday. We switched some things around in the living room, just so that we have store some garden stuff, but I actually kind of like it.

I really want all this to be done so I can focus on the getting the nursery in order and deep clean the house.

Day is going quick. We are getting out to a nursery to pick up some stuff and maybe some pumpkins. We considered a fall festival place but it rained overnight, so seems a bit soggy for that. We are planning a trader joe's run tomorrow morning. We haven't been since march and I need more gf oatmeal.. I'm brainstorming what to get and am so excited to stock up.

I'm feeling pretty defeated about the SC nomination, I have never seen handmaids tale, but not sure it would be a wise time to start now. I was able to get down to see RBG on Thurs night, such a slap in the face to replace her with her polar opposite 😔

We had flag football this morning. The teams only have 6 kids and 2 of ours no showed. It’s the first practice and scrimmage so maybe they quit? It’s odd. Two of the four players can’t catch the ball and one of them doesn’t seem that interested in learning. It’s going to be an interesting season.

Not much else to report here. I just ordered takeout and we are having movie night. There’s no school tomorrow so he’s going to his aftercare place all day but we can drop him off later if he needs to sleep in.

tallb Handmaids Tale is great but I think you are making the right choice in not watching it now. There’s too many things in it that seemed unbelievable 6 mos ago and are now part of our lives.

I’m glad you got to see RBG. I wish they would honor her wishes about the nomination.

tallb Maybe last fall or earlier this spring I tried to get through some of House of Cards, but it just hits too close to home with all of Frank’s scheming and the political crap. I started west wing instead and it’s just what I need when I’m down about everything wrong in our country right now. The SC crap pisses me off, but I’ve tried not to delve too deep in it because I don’t think there is anything we can do to stop it now. Just hoping we can do a big sigh of relief come November.

Hi. With cooler temps making there way to stay, I had to sort through the millions of things I have for M2. OMG I bought so much for M at that age that he hardly ever wore and M2 likely won’t either because we have no where to go. Guess I’ll just send him to daycare in polo shirts and button downs. 😂

I made my grocery run and now just piddling around the house and keeping the kids out of trouble. They don’t make it easy. MH is glued to the TV cuz football.

Low key day. Worked on a puzzle, did some yard work with M's assistance. Helped M with her last homework assignment. She had to write a poem and couldnt come up with anything. Once she found her muse (Denver) the words came easily. The girls are playing with a neighbor now.

The last season of The Good Place fi ally dropped on Netflix so MH is getting caught up on the 3rd season tonight so we can watch the 4th.

tgrimes I will text you a picture of the marble run Evie has. She enjoys it, although she doesn't put it together. She watches me put it together, then plays with it. It's fun, but damn if the directions don't suck ass.
