MH and I had our WTF meeting with our RE last week. We are going to be getting some samples, running some tests, and of course spending more and more money. Upcoming for me is: 1. Repeating RPL panel (last done in 2017 with a different office; he wants to make sure it's still accurate) 2. ERA to see if I'm starting progesterone at the right time (this one is admittedly low on the priority list since I'm implanting, but who knows, it could still be off) 3. Receptiva test to see if I have endometriosis that is being missed 4. Testing for endometritis - he also wants to put me on antibiotics at the beginning. I'm guessing they're related. 5. Intralipid infusions to fight off any potential NK cells. I'm just so tirrrrrred of it all. We think we solve the issue, and then another one pops up. I Googled prices for surrogates in case we don't figure anything out, and I just laughed and laughed.

CD1 was last week so I’ve started estrace. My ERA is tentatively scheduled for the 15th depending on what my body does. I also found out they want me doing PIO which... yeah, I’m really not excited about. Part of it is that I’m not so excited to stab myself in the ass daily, but part of it is also that I thought I had everything down and now I have to learn something new and I don’t wanna. I mean, I’ll do it but I felt very defeated when I found out. I’m a little better about it now though.

sally have you had to do it before? I had to start with my FET for the first time and I was not looking forward to it at all, but I’ve found that if I run the syringe under hot water for a few seconds, it is easier to inject and hurts less. I also ice the area before and then immediately after sit on a heating pad.

I have done a couple tests over the last few days, and have gotten positives, but they are so light, and today’s seems no darker than 2 days ago. I can’t even go to get bloodwork until next week because we are on our quarantine, so I am preparing for a chemical but hoping it will stick. I am sad I just can’t be naively happy, but here we are.

I’ve heard some people actually prefer the shots to vaginal so that’s something, I think I was just annoyed that it’s something new when I wasn’t expecting it. Thank you for the tips!

And yes, I am pretty early. 11dp5dt so I know it’s still early in the game, but they haven’t been this light before. I did read that FETs can implant later than fresh transfers, so I hope that’s what happened! I have betas on M, W, F next week, so hopefully that puts my mind at ease. I was the same way with the progesterone. I had been doing suppositories 2x a day and then the day of my transfer the doctor insisted I switch to one of each.
