Great job cp3 I was going to recommend the same thing. I went looking for a picture. Also the purses. I think you did a great job of using your vertical space.

McBenny in Clutterbug terms, I am a cricket and my husband is a butterfly. I have really had to embrace good enough for now organization knowing I can go back and improve later. The multipurpose bins from the Container store are my favorite thing ever for organizing my pantry and making it pretty. The are translucent so you can see inside, but a little opaque so things don’t feel too visually overwhelming. The large size holds 2 rows of canned goods perfectly for grouping. We use the medium size for dumping boxes of snacks/pouches in groups. See I don't care to see in. I mean I will if I must but I don't really care to. I have bins now. I just feel I can do better with using the vertical space and j need back stock solutions. I think it gets on my nerves cause I just have someone throwing shit in there. 🤷🏻♀️

I tackled a couple boxes we had from when DH moved in. We washed up the things he will use and the things we will donate. We only kept a handful of items and I freed up two boxes in the attic. We still have a lot to go, but any progress is good.
I also went through our very small pantry. Everything is wiped down and reorganized.

We have been going through one box of stuff from our move a night and while it is slow going we are seeing improvement. I redid our pantry a few weeks ago but I was having a problem with our spice cabinet. I bought three lazy suzans and it looks so much better now and I can actually see what spices we have!

Don't think of it as moving slow ladies. Every step is a step forward!

The last room I need to do upstairs is the office closet. I could probably get to it today but I'm going to leave it for next weekend so I can get things ready for the week.
Also added kitchen cabinets and under the kitchen sink to my to do list. Last time I went through our dishes I kept some things that we still haven't used so I just need to purge them. I told MH if we haven't used things since we moved 6 years ago we are getting rid of them.

I cleaned out my car, including all the junk in my old diaper bag.
Got rid of so many junky little toys. I like to ask the girls what they want to keep (i know that's not everyone's way and that's fine), but I think they are sick of me because they just said yes to getting rid of it all.
We also weeded and cleaned out the side of the house where the trash cans go. Such a small thing but it looks much better. We put pavers that we had laying around down under the cans. Fun suburban weekend.

I bought 2 of these for under sink storage in bathroom. Only one fit and I tried both sides. I put my pads, tampons, and liners in there. I'm able to use above the drawer to put things on. I can post a pic of wanted. I'm going to try the drawer in the kids' bathroom.

This is my pantry post purge today. Again I have to also have room for things we don't buy or use since BFF is living with us.

Anyone doing any projects today? I need some inspiration. I’m thinking about tackling my nightstand later this afternoon. It’s a hefty size, three drawers, basically full of randomness. Has been easy for me to overlook. So I think I’ll clean it out, and then decide what to keep in there. I have been wanting to be more intentional about keeping a journal, so it’d be nice to keep it there with some nice writing pens.

cp3 I guess it depends how often you switch out purses and bags but I store them all inside each other. So it only looks like 1-2 large bags at the tops of my closet because the rest are inside.

Anyone doing any projects today? I need some inspiration. I’m trying to do a cabinet in my pantry. I don’t use my space properly and this will go a long way in storage that’s usable/useful.

I did the laundry room cabinets today. I can finally fit all of the bottles of detergent, bleach, and floor cleaner in the cabinets rather than on the floor. However, a bottle of Febreeze fell out of a cabinet and broke open all over the floor and under the washer. So the room will smell like Febreeze for the next year or so. I don't even like Febreeze, it was a purchase by my ex.

I have so much baby stuff I'm on the verge of getting rid of even though we're still on the fence about trying for #4. I've been in such a terrible headspace lately and cleaning things out is my go to.

I cleaned out, wiped down and reorganized my spice rack and a kitchen cabinet today. Since I’d gotten a lot of the big projects done this summer I’m focusing on some of the smaller areas that sometimes get overlooked. I also went through one more attic box!

Can I join!? We made the decision to stay in our house and reno over buying/building new so we’ve got renos lined up starting mid-Oct and should take about 5 weeks-ish. So in order to prep I’ve been cleaning and organizing everything. So far I’ve cleaned: -the windows and window tracks took ages but look great now, -scrubbed a few of the door hinges esp in the bathrooms and pantry, -built a new shelf in the garage that then freed up space in the storage area in the house, -moved some toys to put into a rotation system of some sort - a few bags to goodwill ready to go, -took out all my pots and pans and laid them out, decided which ones we used and which lids fit and donated the rest -redid the whole pantry I am liking this and really feel that I am loving my home again and it’ll be even more after the renos. Pantry pics; the turntable is great and I had no idea I’d love it so much

How do you organize your mail? I have signed up for as much paperless bills as I can, besides that when I get the mail I immediately throw out/recycle any flyers or whatever I don't want. If it needs to be dealt with there is a small bin by the computer that I clean up while budgeting once a week, usually Sunday nights. After I pay or deal with the mail and if it needs to be kept then I have a filing cabinet that has files for everything, it took me a weekend to set up all the files but it makes everything so much easier. Some examples of file folders I have are; -daycare info/receipts -car insurance, -home insurance, -taxes per year, -for the current year I always have a folder with any receipts etc I simply called it the 2020 receipts then go through it at the end of Dec to clear up anything we dont need going forward, -file folders for all the instructions for appliances in the house, -each kid has a file folder that I fill through the year -lego instructions (my god the lego instructions) -mortgage info and many many more. The filing cabinet usually gets looked at and cleaned out twice a year, end June with school ending and end Dec for calendar year end.

I think today between work and school breaks I am going to tackle the linen closet, my table linens don't stack nicely and keep falling over, it's driving me a little nuts and I've got to find a solution.

I did some major digital decluttering of my personal email inbox. From 800+ (read) messages to 34.
I tend to save order confirmations and shipping notifications of anything I order online. The vast majority is Amazon. I don't know why I do this, because it's all in my Amazon account anyway! I need to get better at deleting once I receive the item.
I also saved all divorce related emails into a separatenfolder. 100+ messages and counting for that one, ugh.
