I'm looking at double strollers! Moms of 2 or more do you prefer the side by side, the sit n stand, the double stroller with one in back/one in front or some other style?

Also curious, are there double stroller options that have the infant car seat click-in option?

Also curious, are there double stroller options that have the infant car seat click-in option? a lot of the gracos have the click in option from my research. The britax does not. And some have the ability to purchase the adapter to be able to click it in... I bought the city mini double with the intention of purchasing the adapter so I can click in my graco carrier.

I have the City Mini GT double and like it. I was pretty set against buying a double, but I got it for a steal ($300 or so). I use it mostly for trail walking, I feel like kind of an asshole taking it to the mall or anywhere public because it is so wide. I don't use infant carseats but it reclines so that newborns can use it comfortably.
I also bought a glider board for my single that works well for my 2 year old. That is the one I tend to take to the zoo or mall or whatever.

I'm on the lookout for a double BOB (side by side). I'll be able to put an infant seat adapter in one side. I use the single BOB 95% of the time and very rarely use our other stroller. I use it for running and we walk a lot of places in town (park, friends' houses, etc.). They are over $600 new so I'm hoping to get one as a gift (not that I would expect it...but maybe from my parents?) or combine gift cards to help with the cost or find a decent one on Craigslist!

We just got the vista! We already have the mesa (car seat) which we used with our cruz and I loved it. DS loves the stroller so we bit the bullet and bought the vista. It also comes with the bassinet which I am also really excited about!!!

No, in fact, she gets tired of riding even on the glider board and prefers to walk on her own most of the time anyway 😂 stubborn little bugger. I usually throw a carrier in the basket as back up and on the rare occasion she does get tired I will wear my younger one and let the 2 year old ride in the stroller. I'm curious about the glider board. What age is it recommended for?
We have the Vista but we will need a second seat. We don't use it much as DD wants only to ride in her push along car or push along bike. I tried to have her use it this weekend and she just said, "no".
I'm thinking that in Winter we won't need the stroller too much anyway and I'd wear the baby most of the time. So I might reevaluate the seat versus glider board discussion in the spring.

I think I want a tandem (front to back). Baby will be in a Chicco Keyfit infant seat, and I think most double strollers have an adapter you can buy for it to click in. DS will only be 21 months so I want a seat for him not just the standing thingy.

I also learned that it is compatible with the double so I am more relieved about lugging 3 kids around now, woot woot! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Following along. I havent thought too much about gthis yet. We will be using a britax b safe so I just need something compatible. I also like the idea of a glider (DS will be just over 2) and I'm thinking I'll wear baby a lot. Do you think I can get away with waiting until the little is big enough for an umbrella stroller?

I have the worlds laziest children I swear. My 7 year old still asks to ride (and will on occasion).
We have a double bob that stays in the garage. I use it for walks and the occasional run. Super easy to push and the kids fit very comfortably. Does not fold up small at all. But I haven't found a double that really does. I can't easily put it in my car though, and I have an Acadia.
We have the city Select as well, it usually stays in my car. My youngest actually prefers to walk more than the older two, so we'll see how much use it gets, but I love both strollers. Neither are a since to push at the mall because let's face it, most double strollers are just big! But when I first had the Select people would ask me about it all the time because of the various seat positions.

I think I am skipping a double stroller. G will be just a few months shy of three when this one arrives and already prefers to walk most places. We have taken her on pretty far walks without the stroller so she is sort of used to it. The only places that I would need a double stroller for are Disney or Sesame place. I will just rent them when I get there or bring a second adult (which I usually have anyway) with a second stroller for G.

In your situation, I agree that it will be better to have it. There is a consignment store about 35 minutes away that I considered going to check out and look for a stroller. I decided that right now, it's not a priority.

Did you come across any strollers that hold 2 kids + an infant seat. i think I'm going to evaluate in the springs months after this baby is born. DS1 will hopefully be riding a 2 wheeler and maybe I can get DS2 into the rumble seat of my vista or get the standing board. I really like the Vista for one kid but I regret not getting the double Bob. Like benandjerrys it's kind of a mystery because I'm not a jogger!

It was my plan initially, but I am out of shape and I found myself using babywearing as an excuse to avoid going on walks or to the park ("it's too hot, baby will be uncomfortable and so will I"). The double stroller's only purpose is pretty much to get me off my lazy @$$ and get me moving a little bit more. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I've got a sit n stand. My DD was only 15 months when my DS was born so I needed something. It's a random stroller, which is nice because the side by side are difficult to get through doors and on side walks. It's not made for older kids though, as the seats are kind of small. My 3 and 2 year old use it with no problem, but their feet do hang.

The glider board seemed like it would be in the way so I just forced my older one to walk. Because she was 5. Haha. I think the double bob is great even if you're not a jogger, if you like to take walks. The Select/an inline just isn't as good for walking.

I got a sit and stand for a phenomenal price on a FB yardsale page. My DD (who will be 27mo when baby arrives) is about whatever other kids are doing so if baby is in the stroller she will want to be too.

Plus I'm cheap, so if I can get away with not buying another stroller that would be great. I also figured that if E wants to ride that I could always wear the new baby. The only thing that might change my mind is if I can find a good deal on a sit and stand stroller.

My sister has twins and had a double wide and while it was useful the side-by-side made it hard to maneuver while shopping or in high traffic areas (narrow sidewalks/aisles etc). Her infant double stroller was single wide/two deep and it was easier to handle.

I'm thinking my plan is to wear the new baby and ds will go in the stroller/cart. By the time new baby is too big for the tula(I'm guessing 1-1.5 Like ds), ds will be around 4. Sorry I think I rambled a lot. Have you checked Craigslist for double strollers?

We were just going to stick with the strollers that we have - Uppababy Vista, single bob, Baby jogger umbrella, but since I didn't lose all the weight after DD I really want to get back into shape and while I'm not a runner, I plan to walk as much as possible during maternity leave so will need to have the option to push both kids in one stroller so we are watching the bst sites and Craigslist for any double bobs that are in good condition for a good price.
For trips to the store/museums/etc. I just plan to use the Uppababy.
