I needed a new thread I just cant keep up!
All three of ours started full time daycare the week. We call it school to make ourselves feel better but I will say I am so much more relaxed and haven't fallen as behind at work as usual so all good. We can literally walk there if we wanted so the days i don't have to go in to campus are no lo ger an hour round trip just to drop them off.
J had a follow up ent Thursday and the surgery seemed to work, just a little neurological apnea left they think he will grow out of. He refuses to go on a scale or get his height measured so i am at a loss for his stats.

I’m so glad them in daycare is helping! And I’m glad his surgery worked!
N starts preschool next week. It’s going to be a disaster transition. He’s been so psyched about school all summer and starting last week now he’s like I don’t want to go!!!!! I’m not looking forward to this disaster he is going to be or his sleep is going to be.
Otherwise, SSDD. I went up on my anxiety meds a few weeks ago but it was making me SO sleepy I could barely function during the day even though I took it at night. So I went back to the old dose for a few days and felt normal, and then started splitting the dose with most at night aNd a little in the AM. we will see how that works. I’m gonna need the extra dose with school starting 😂
Does anyone use CBD here besides dolly? I started it a few weeks ago and I’m curious to see if anyone else takes it and their experience? I think I need higher doses than I started off with so I’m taking more but some days I also just forget.

addymac I use CBD but not at all the. Usually ill go a week or two using it when my anxiety is high or im havingbad joint pain. It doesn't cure either but takes the edge off my anxiety and dulls the joint pain. I actually have a company that i work with that has seny me a bunch if oil so thats been nice. I just had a company send me hippi tea and i really like it. Its teabags with disolving cbd in it. Ive been drinking the decaf one before bed and i sleep so much better.

Hey ladies, I'm drowning over here.. First week of virtual learning and it's been challenging. I'm exhausted everyday when I get home. J's been crying every morning when I leave. They came to bring me a drink Tuesday and he had a massive meltdown when I had to go back in school so no more of that. I know he's not used to me going to work anymore but man it sucks. Then at bedtime last night he was hysterical for 10 minutes so I finally rocked him to sleep. I hate that I'm causing him so much anxiety. Virtual learning is hard. It's better then it was in the spring since i'm in my classroom. I fell like I can do more and we are live teaching. But getting my kids out of the regular class into my groups has been a 10 step process and a nightmare so I haven't taught much except how to get them to do it. I had IEP meetings yesterday. It's just long amd tiring and I've been working through my lunch everyday. yellowcat I'm glad daycare is going well. J starts school Oct. 5 and I'm nervous but he needs the social aspect so much. addymac I hope N's first day of school went well!

Hi Ladies, sorry everyone is having a rough go of it. Life in a pandemic is just a boatload of shit :sigh:
D1’s school did a zoom with the teachers, principal and all the kindergarten kids today. The staff all seem so nice and we had another meeting with her class and teacher after and I’m feeling good about things.
My allergies have been bonkers off and on since spring so I’m constantly playing the plague or pollen game so that’s fun!
D1 just turned 6 so both kiddos have had birthday fun the last few weeks. MH’s is in a couple of weeks.
I’m tired and of course work is starting to really pick up.
All things considering, we had a nice summer. I’m glad we could escape to the beach house most of it. It was a nice change of scenery. I’m going to miss that

Wow I thought the hybrid shitshow my college classes have become was hard. After 4 hours straight on zoom and in the class I am done. The other day I had a meeting after all day classes and just put my head down with the camera on. I couldn't even try to hide the fact that I am so over all of this.
J and his sisters have regressed now that daycare is full time. They are hot messes all weekend. Good luck everyone I hope the other August kids fair better.

I used to walk around ozing snot with crack smoking eyes and now barely a thing on my bad days.

I’m so laughing at your description 🤣😂 I haven’t really considered it yet because it’s just kind of came out of nowhere this year (yay 2020) but I should probably think about seeing an allergist. Glad to hear the shots help you!

I am in the mess of doing virtual school with my kindergartener, while keeping the 3 year old tornado from disrupting the whole thing. These past couple weeks have been ROUGH!
L started preschool last week (t/th mornings) and is loving it.
But, really, I need a break from adulting/parenting for a day.

I am so glad I am not dealing with school.
Last week J had a staph in d eating all over his face. He missed 3 days of daycare. Today my 4 yearold was home with a similar rash. Took her to the doctor, left with all 3 kids having covid tests and put in quarantine . WTF?!?!
The doctor said their runny noses and slight coughs meant automatic tests even though I am sure it is their allergies. FU 2020

school is stressful. Im teaching twice as much as the gen. Ed teachers which really sucks but i do groups all morning the individual sessions after lunch. When we go hybrid it will be a nightmare. Kids come 830 to 130 2 dayd a week everyone is virtual fridays, it goes by alphabet. So some teachers have 15 kids one day then 5 the next. My kids are pretty even but i dont know how to get in thei service times with hybrid. Our prek, k, 1 come back oct. 5 but so far no date for my students. J starts bacj oct. 5 too and im excited for him. He needs playmates desperately.
Found out my brother and sil are doing fertility treatments. She called 2 weeks ago to talk since they know we went through it. Im sad they have to but am glad they are trying it. They want a baby so badly and have been trying 4 years that i know of.

Hi, I’m anxiously waiting to get word of DD getting into public preschool We started gymnastics on Saturdays, last week was the first and it was Embarrassing and wild. This week was hilarious and wild. I’m sure the teachers hate me for laughing. In a few weeks the parents have to be out of the classroom. Then we will get kicked out because they aren’t going to be able to handle her. But we will see.
My babysitter is moving and done in October. If I can’t find a replacement I need to quit my job so I’m Glad I got plenty of notice. Trying care.com again. That never worked for me in the past. I advertised I want in home babysitting when I work from home and I get responses from two people who are running illegal daycares so that’s just great.
