The first trimester can really go F off now. I'm so tired of feeling like puking all the time.
I have an appointment next Friday and I'm super anxious about it even though we already heard the heart beat and saw a healthy baby. I just need to feel not like puking, hear good heartbeat, get good results from genetic testing so I can tell the first trimester to F off and actually tell people and be excited about the baby and not worried!
How is everyone else doing?

I'm exhausted.
OB yesterday was great. She couldn't find the HB on doppler (I found it the night before, so I wasn't worried) and I purposefully wasn't helpful, so I could get a quick peek at Grape. 🙊 Got a perfect little babe, head down, kicking me a few times. Apparently, I also have a posterior placenta this time, so that's exciting!
Went to check the balance on my account last night and it blew me away. My prenatal care is supposed to be 100% covered, so now I have to argue with insurance about how some of this shit needs to be covered. And I hate phone calls, so this is just a huge brick on my back. 😭

I’ve been hating to cook too. Yesterday was the first day I cooked craving the food I was cooking. It was so simple too. I made spicy bbq chicken drumSticks with rice and a corn and zucchini mix. I added spicy salsa on top. It was so good. I’m currently having leftovers. I kind of feel like I was a bit worst with my daughter. With this pregnancy I feel like I have some days where I can actually eat and I’m not attacked by morning sickness.

i think this pregnancy is harder on me than all my other ones because i’m not a teenager anymore. teens never sleep or eat anyway so i was just... so much better off. 😂
not condoning teen pregnancy but it sure was easier.

Honestly if I had it my way and life wasn’t so expensive, I would have wanted to have kids pretty young. I would have wanted to be done by my 30’s and start my hot sexy mama stage after that. Now I’ll be a 60 year old hot sexy momma.

Glad to know I’m not alone in the food issues. I feel like I”m always simultaneously starving while being repulsed by every food option in the house. Last Sunday, I actually cried because all I wanted was a spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A.

everyone still hanging in there? Mostly. Bunch of ash from the fires covered our area last night and we're under a Red Flag (basically air quality) warning until 8pm tomorrow. So instead of playing outside, I've been nesting 😂

everyone still hanging in there? Present. The nausea is letting up a little, so woohoo, but still struggling to find something appetizing to eat. Has your bleeding let up at all yet?? In other news, a cat followed my H home the other night and now it won’t leave my yard! Of course I’m a sucker and fed it and gave it water and now my kids are in love and omg whyyyyy. We are so not cat people.

I’m 10 weeks now. Babies looked good yesterday.
I had to talk to my OB about depression yesterday tho. This is such a different pregnancy than my first. With my first I had so much anxiety. And even when I am anxious with this one, I feel very blue lately. So I’m going to get a call from a psychiatrist and see what I can get on because I’m struggling over here. Nausea was very bad over the weekend. I almost threw up. Brushing my teeth can fuck itself. It sucks.
How’s everyone else?

miawallace fuck brushing teeth, indeed. THE WORST I feel like all I do is whine. I’m sick with a cold from hell. Major congestion and I’m so tired I could cry. I called out of work today, but kept getting calls/texts from the higher ups trying to determine if I need a COVID test to come back to work. They finally decided if I think it’s just a cold and I’m not running a fever (my temp has stayed normal) then I’m fine to come back. I miss cold medicine 😭

Y'all, the projected rain on Monday cannot come fast enough. I woke up and the sky is puke yellow and there's a fire 4 miles from me (I'm assuming it's small, so I'm not too concerned about having to evac, but it's definitely not helping air quality).
We need rain desperately. I was going to go water down out lawns, but I don't want to be out in this shizz and H is sick today. 😫

Here. All day nausea is still bad. I’m living on oatmeal and mashed potatoes. I’m hoping it lets up after the first tri. Lasted half way through second with my first. First appointment and ultrasound on Monday!
Thinking about everyone dealing with wildfires.

Mine was post partum but I had bad anxiety with my first and then depression with my second and took way to long to address it. I hope you find something that helps!

I'm here! We've been at the beach this week so I've been a little MIA. Still not much in the way of symptoms other than feeling dizzy if I don't eat something at least every 2 h. Also I've still had some brown spotting. Ugh. Monday's US cannot come soon enough! Is anyone else showing already?? This feels nuts this early but I can't suck it in and my 4 yo called me out lol. I know the doc said I'd show sooner this time, but I didn't even have the tiniest bump until 12-13 weeks with the twins! *PDQ*

I was overweight before getting pregnant and had a belly. I’ve actually lost 7 lbs since getting a positive, but I almost guarantee that’s due to not drinking anymore. I’m trying to stay as healthy as possible this go round because my last I gained 65 lbs and I can’t really bear that this time.
All that to say, I’ve been bloating so bad that I have to switch out of my jeans because I’m like a sausage by the end of the day. I don’t call it showing by any means but if you didn’t know you’d assume I was like 15-16 weeks.

Welp, I just rescheduled my Monday scan for a few weeks out. I *could* have rescheduled for a week later, but I wanted to see my MFM from last time and with the insurance stress, I'd rather not do it so early and risk needing to come back.
So now my scan is Oct 1 and I need to ask OB if they want me to come in earlier or not. Ay. 🙈

I feel like I’m showing already. But i think it’s just my fat ass. I’ve been wearing a lot of loose dresses because it’s so hot here. Too hot to pants. But I did buy maternity pants and leggings already, so once it gets cooler I know I’ll start spotting those. They say you show sooner with second pregnancy right? I did gain a few pounds while doing IUI, those meds puffed me out a bit. So I’m trying not to gain to much from now on. My OB said to keep working-out super chill and to focus more on diet. It’s really hard to do that during 1st trimester because some days I’m ravenous and some days I’m just not eating at all.

We should probably start a bump thread. For me it’s mostly a taco bump so far.

I for sure have a bump but I feel like I have since six weeks lol I'm not sure my bump from my first pregnancy ever really went away. I'll be 13 weeks on Wednesday! I had a doctor appointment last Friday and the baby was being a stinker for the doppler so I got a quick peek ultrasound. Wow the baby has grown so much! It has little cute chicken legs sticking out and I saw a hand was by his/her face, adorable! And the little heart was beating away just fine! I officially told my work today. We are waiting for the genetic testing to come back next Tuesday and then we will tell the rest of our families. I'm so nervous and so excited to find out the gender!

I had my first tri US this morning. Measuring right on track at 9w1d. Babe was so wiggly and I could see little arms and legs! Just nuts. Apparently my brown spotting is just "random"...they were not concerned unless it picks up to red or active bleeding. I go back in 4 weeks to see one of the midwives probably just for doppler.
MH this morning said he wants to find out the sex. I was so surprised because we were team green with the twins and it was SO FUN. I'm undecided but think that if we do find out, I want to do the genetic testing. I don't trust US after my aunt found out she was having a girl and NOPE it was a boy...they just missed the penis! Can't get that out of my head.

i've been bleeding for 2.5 weeks now and i'm like chafing from pads and panty liners. is there any other solution? obviously can't wear tampons. i've seen the disposable period underwear but they don't seem very user friendly for changing in a restroom at work. ugh
