The squabbling b/n siblings has reached a fever pitch lately...B desperately needs to be back in school and I cannot wait. They need a break from each other. We get his teacher assignment at 3 today; I noticed there are teacher bio's on our school's website with pics and 'about me' type things so we can go check things out there. We have a zoom orientation Friday morning. My boys need time apart desperately. A is on vacation next week to build the deck and J loves to help. M will hang with me so hopefully that'll help the war zone happening in my house... |

Its been a day. My boys spent most of the time with my mom. But they kept fighting so she was grumpy. But I told her to call me if they fight and send them home. But she didn't, instead she just gets pissy that they aren't behaving. Mj is fighting naps like crazy and just went down for her second at 6. Not sure what that means for bedtime, but girl needed it. I did a huge grocery run and got the boys teeball pants, socks and belts in the team color. A is using our bob cat and post hole digger to dig the holes for the deck. I need to pick up the house and make dinner. The boys are in the pool having a blast. A is right there and they have puddle jumpers on so I'm sitting for a few minutes.
So I told you guys a while ago that my dad was planning to shut down our business. Well he never could quite pull the trigger and now has brought on 3 guys... 2 of which I don't care for. I've enjoyed not working and was about to post on Facebook to watch more kids. Glad I didn't yet.

We had tons of fun today with my 2 oldest best friends. The ocean looked like the Caribbean. I couldn’t decide what to have for dinner so I gave the kids the pizza left from lunch and I had a donut and a margarita. My bff will be in town the next few days then my parents are coming Friday. Saturday we are having a little block party on our 7 house block.

I believe we talked about this a few weeks ago, but I got an email tonight from my car insurance co. They are returning a small bit of my premiums due to be COVID effects of fewer cars on the road and fewer accidents. Yay!

I felt so accomplished this morning because I was able to find a matching Christmas stocking for L from Pottery Barn kids that has been discontinued. Last year, I ordered him a similar one from somewhere else but it bothered me that it wasn’t an exact match so I randomly searched today and found it on eBay, yay! Now I’ll just have to take it in to the PBK store to have it monogrammed. trtlcrzy, have you tried the cabin bar iced crafted press from caribou? I had it today... So yummy! No, I’ve done caramel and vanilla so far. I prefer caramel. That one is on my list to try next! |
