Why is it Monday already???

I had 3 glasses of wine at my moms last night and am regretting it.

Work for me today. Evie has a rheumatologist appointment this afternoon, which she's very nervous about. The steroid shot made the swelling slowly go down, there is just one smaller bump on her knee and the pain only comes occasionally, so I think it will be an easy appointment. I just don't know what we do now. I'm hoping they don't want to do labs because she's already stressing about school starting this week and I don't want to add to it.

Really good! Biggest problem is that she hasn’t pooped since before surgery. Thanks to the anesthesia I’m sure. So last night I gave her some milk of magnesia to try and get things moving. She still hasn’t gone. So her new aide will likely have to deal with that today 😂. Whoops!

More painting for me...I’m working on the 2nd coat and hoping to finish before we get C at 12:30. I’m loving the color so it’ll be fun to take the tape down and get everything put back.

I’m not in the path, but we are expecting rain at some point. Now where my parents are, they will get both storms. I’m glad Marco seems to be turning and downgraded back to a tropical storm. It looks like they will be on the east side of Laura so probably a lot of rain and wind gusts there.

Morning all. We headed out camping this weekend and it was nice to get away. MH and I actually went for a round of golf together which hasnt happened in ages cause of the dear children....it was fun but it's amazing how two full days outside and not sleeping well can turn everyone pretty cranky! we all rested really well so here's hoping today is good.

I feel like we got quite a bit done around the house this weekend, but I still have a few loads of laundry to fold. MH might do it if he sees the baskets in the room. He and M are hanging out today. I need to start getting M on track for school starting next week which means moving up bed time. We got his school iPad last week so last night I showed him how to access the programs so he can do some is his math games and some other stuff this week.

vino we went with Ben Moore ‘Soft White’, which is a super pale peachy pink. I love the color, it’s very easy on the eye and satisfied C’s wish for pink without being too bubblegum-y or intense.




This room is obviously not finished but this will give you an idea of the color.

Love the softness of it flamingo. J is asking for purple, so I am trying to find something equivalent to your soft pink, I'm leaning towards SW Spangle
